As the owners of a stunning 15th floor Malibu unit, we are excited to offer our 2.5 bedroom / 2.5 bath personal vacation condo to you and your family / friends, comfortably sleeping 6-8 people. We are certain you will be pleased with the breathtaking oceanfront views from the balcony (unlike most other Galveston condos, we have NO highway and NO seawall between our balcony and Grand Beach) and living area as well as the HUGE, HUGH, HUGE ocean view picture windows in both bedrooms. Professionally decorated, beautiful furnishings, motorized remote-controlled Hunter Douglas window shades, hardwood floors and brand new premium mattresses and bedding are just a few of the amenities that set our condo apart from the rest.

Just because you’re on vacation, it doesn't mean you have to give up premium entertainment or technology. You will have fast reliable 100MBS Wi-Fi throughout the condo and free resort-provided Wi-Fi in the common areas and around the pool. In the living room, enjoy our 48” HD flat screen TV with 160+ premium XFINITY X1 Entertainment channels, HBO, Netflix, ESPN, Amazon Prime, HBO on Demand, Apple TV, Blu-Ray DVD player (bring your favorites, enjoy ours or rent from the Red Box kiosk on-property) and for the kids (the young ones and the grown up ones) play our XBox 360 (bring your favorite games or enjoy ours). In the master and guest bedroom, enjoy 42” HD flat screens with 160+ premium cable channels including HBO and ESPN. Use the DVR to record up to 4 channels simultaneously. If you must sneak in a little business while on vacation, we have a networked HP OfficeJet Pro 8600e All-in-One Printer in the half bedroom. Make copies, scan or print via AirPrint or HP ePrint. Need to take a quick work call before the family wakes up? Sneak down to the elegant library on the 2nd floor before the kids wake up to take private early morning business calls while grabbing free coffee at the coffee bar from 5am to noon.

If you like to cook, you’ll love our kitchen! You’ll find premium Bosch appliances, high-quality Cuisinart stainless cookware, a Le Creuset Dutch oven, a heavy-duty blender for making frozen margaritas, rum punch, and smoothies. We also have a mini-food processor, electric pancake griddle, hand mixer, SHARP knives and most every utensil and gadget imaginable. Prep meals on the granite countertops facing a direct view of the ocean. You’ll find a pantry already well stocked with many of the basics plus a dozen of the most common herbs and spices. Grab your groceries just a mile away at Arlan's Market.

Get the most incredible fresh-off-the-boat Gulf seafood from Katie’s Seafood, just 3 miles away. There is no fresher shrimp, red snapper or flounder ANYWHERE in the world. The fishing boats pull up to the canal-side rear of the store, unload their catch in your plain view. Only TWENTY FEET from boat to your grocery bag! Holy Cow!!! (no pun intended) ... the pelicans hang out back for the scraps!!! Respecting eco-friendly, sustainable, line-caught fishing (and listed as approved on the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch) you'll know EXACTLY from WHICH BOAT your red snapper was actually caught.

When you get back to the condo, if you went for the shrimp, do a quick all-in-one pot shrimp boil. Maybe add some corn-on-the-cob, new potatoes and Andouille sausage. You've got all the pots, pans and utensils you need already there. If you chose the red snapper or flounder, cook it simply: a little salt and pepper, some Cajun seasoning (maybe), a light dusting of flour and a quick pan sauté in a little butter and olive oil served with a twist of lemon. Next, turn on a little Jimmy Buffet on the iTunes Radio. Pour a locally brewed St. Arnold's Ellisa IPA or a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc and you'll KNOW that you've started your beach vacation! Then, enjoy it all, lounging on the balcony, watching the sunset over the ocean and Pleasure Pier ... now you've got some Good Eats!!

Or, better yet, leave the car parked and take a 10-minute stroll east along the beach at sunset, beverage in-hand, for a great meal at our favorite slightly upscale yet comfortable, Porch Cafe in Beachtown. We LOVE it for Sunday Brunch.

Mark and I have been married for 24 years and have lived in Houston that entire time. Our son just graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and our daughter is a senior at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. We have ALWAYS been a beach family and had dreamed about having a really nice upscale condo with the PERFECT beach views ... we finally realized that dream with this condo!

It is THE nicest high rise in Galveston. Maybe the entire Texas Gulf Coast. Period. Nothing else comes close. The beach is the prettiest in Galveston and there is no road or seawall between the building and the beach. It is quiet, yet just 10 minutes away from the best activities and restaurants in Galveston. It has every amenity you'd expect in a 5 star resort plus more: integrated property-wide security, covered secured parking, 3500 sq ft workout facility with sauna. Cement walls insure privacy from neighbors.

What makes this condo unique

From our balcony, you can see only The Gulf of Mexico, beach and our resort and pool area. At night, in the distance you can see the lights at Pleasure Pier and of Galveston.

Best Vacation Yet!

This is our 3rd year to stay in this beautiful condo! Everything was wonderful as always. The owners attended to our every need. They kept us informed on Tropical Storm Cindy and made sure we were aware of any changes that might affect our stay. We have been visiting Galveston for years. This is our best vacation yet! Can't wait to return next year!

Relaxing Getaway

Palisade Palms is beautiful and well cared for. And the condo was very comfortable. We felt very at home. And really enjoyed watching the pelicans fly right in front of our windows! We cooked almost every day of our stay. Getting our fresh seafood at Katie's. The pool is heated and the swim was very relaxing. We explored the beach, enjoyed shopping on the Strand, and we even did a little fishing at the pier.

Home at last!!!

Perfect in every way, we all felt we were home at last!! The condo was unbelievably clean and everything was in perfect working order. We have been renting through VRBO for years everywhere we go, never have we had so many things supplied so that we didn't have to carry them with us. The owners were extremely easy to work with, they have a book in the condo with instructions for everything and suggestions of the best places to eat, shop, and things to do. We have stayed at the property before, in our opinion the best in Galveston and we have stayed at the others, and this was our favorite condo. We will be back and rent this condo again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Galveston.

Beautiful, well appointed condo with all the amenities and kitchen equipment. State- of- art entertainment system. Inviting balcony which is protected from the morning and late evening sun- makes coffee time in the morning and wine time at night a pleasure. Owners are the most helpful and accommodating of any VRBO owners who I've worked with.
