Spacious 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo with expansive views of Banderas Bay and the Playa los Muertos.

Enjoy the top floor of this architecturally unique building. Two large bedrooms, each with ensuite bath, additional full bath off the entry. Open floor plan ties the living room, dining area and large kitchen together.

Enjoy meals on the wrap-around balcony with great views of the bay and partial views of the beach. One bedroom opens to this balcony; the other bedroom has its own sunny balcony.

Up one flight of stairs is the shared rooftop deck with pool, cabaña, kitchen, bbq, and bath. (The building only has six units so the rooftop deck feels very private; it feels almost a part of this top-floor unit.)

The street-side access is on the fourth floor, so there are two flights of stairs to get up to the apartment. (Sorry no elevator.) The beach-side access is on the ground floor. It’s a short walk to the beach and a nice short workout back.

Overlooking Los Muertos Beach and Bandaras Bay at the south edge of Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica. Close to downtown Puerto Vallarta with its blend of traditional 'Old Mexico' charm and modern amenities.

You will enjoy walking Puerto Vallarta’s cobblestone streets and walking along the malecon. You can visit the art galleries, shops, restaurants, and unparalleled nightlife.

This apartment is a short walk to the excellent restaurants and clubs in the Zona Romantica, but far enough away so you hear the ocean at night, not the city noises. We are convenient to the highway, and there is some traffic noise.

This apartment comfortably sleeps six (in beds not fold-out couches) and would work well for a family or for two or three couples who want to share an unforgettable Puerto Vallarta vacation.

We had such a wonderful stay!!! Tom was excellent! Very responsive and helpful, answering every question I had almost immediately! The property is fantastic!! It is on a hill, so most of the time you need to walk down 5 flights of stairs (so not for anyone with mobility issues), but it's completely worth it! Being on the top floor, the breeze that comes through the condo is delightful. And the million dollar view... Also, having the pool just one floor up was a real treat! It's fun to be on the beach, but it's so nice to have a (basically private) pool to go to; a reprieve from the vendors on the beach. We were met upon our arrival by Joel, and oriented to the condo. There are great instructions from Tom, as well as a guest book which had other tips. I can't say enough how much I loved the location of Macuaz! It's near the end of the beach, so it's not as overrun. But it's sooo easy to walk to amazing restaurants, bars, and coffee shops! Furthermore, it's a nice walk down the beach to the Malecon. There is construction happening nearby, but there's construction most places right now in PV. The condo had everything we needed, including a hair dryer, blender (daiquiris by the pool!), coffee pot, bean grinder, etc! We cooked one or two meals a day, which was lovely in the open air kitchen! And it was soooo nice to have a washer and dryer! We just packed small suitcases (which were SO much easier to haul up and down the stairs) and did a couple loads of laundry. I can't recommend this condo enough. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location, Beautiful View, Life is Good

We had a lovely stay at Macuaz #6. We stayed for two weeks at the end of January 2018. We recommend the unit and hope to stay again.

Tom and Skeeter and the unit's management company were all very responsive. Because of timing issues, we needed to check in one day beyond our two-week reservation. We arranged a payment and were able to set it up quickly with no problems. We arrived a bit early, but contacted management who helped us get in to the unit easily.

The unit is very large with plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. Each bedroom has a bath and the 3rd bathroom was really convenient when the others' were napping in their rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of utensils, pots, pans, plates, glassware, etc. We were in Mexico for a total of 2 months, so we did cook in the room occasionally and everything worked well.

The bedrooms were comfortable for us. One room has a King bed and the other has 2 (full? queen? I'm never sure) beds. Some comments on the beds being hard, but a) I prefer firm and b) this is so very typical for Mexico! They love their beds more firm. The pillows were perfect and the bedding was clean and fresh.

Yes, the road noise is present, as the unit is just off the 200. At our time of stay, the nights were pretty brisk, so closing the doors wasn't an issue. With the doors closed, the noise was minimal really. Some nights, though, the sound of the waves pounding on the beach down below actually shook the room! Impressive.

Getting to the beach and town was so easy, just down the stairs and down the street - a few blocks to Blondie's or Fusion Gourmet, or down the beach stairs to Green Chairs or Mantamar. You can be all the way down in about 10 minutes. Of course, the climb up can be a workout, but it really wasn't that bad. A good time to work off all those cervezas.

I really was surprised that noise from Blue Chairs bar wasn't more noticeable. You could hear it, if it was in full swing, but not anything like I expected. Just a vague disco sound in the distance - like a booze cruise boat floating by. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the party, but not have to LIVE in the party!

Housekeeping came two times during our stay to change the sheets and towels and give the place a good sweep/mop. The unit has a washer/dryer which was very convenient.

We had a great time and hope to stay again in coming years.

Spacious with a wonderful view

We were all four generally delighted with this spacious and well-maintained condo. Yes, as mentioned by others there is a fair amount of traffic noise especially for the master bedroom but we were expecting this and it wasn't an issue at all. We nearly always entered and exited on the downhill side of the building which means negotiating six flights of stairs. Again this had been well disclosed, we were expecting it and I for one actually enjoyed the extra exercise. The only real major disappointment which was completely unavoidable by the corners and the management company was the complete lack of Wi-Fi for the entire time we were there. The problem was with the service provider and the management firm attempted to get them to remedy the problem but unfortunately they were not successful. The one super positive thing that stands out to me because I was not expecting it was the delight of being able to sit in the living room or on the deck and listen to the waves crashing against the shore. Other friends who were in PV at the same time we were had a beautiful home right on the beach… Not 15 feet from the waves crashing on the rocks just below and yet we could hear this pounding of the surf just as clearly. I guess it's something about the acoustics of where the building sits. Bottom line I would stay there again without hesitation and also would recommend it to friends.

Great condo. Beautiful views. Comfortable. Lots of space. Fully loaded kitchen.

We really enjoyed the condo. It was breathtaking with the views and amenities. There are 11 flights of stairs to get to the bottom and then a walk down to the beach. We really got a great calf workout on the way up sometimes 4 times in one day. Thus is a very gay friendly community. Thanks for opening up your condo to us. We had a wonderful holiday.

Dream Home Away From Home

We really enjoyed our stay at El Macuaz # 6! We really felt safe and at home there, so much so that we didn’t want to leave! We hope to come back again next year. The condo was very comfortable and spacious. We loved being able to open up the large sliding doors in all the rooms and feeling the warm breezes and looking out over some amazing views of the ocean. It was a joy to do the dishes looking out at that view! We ate our breakfasts out on the long wrap around patio. The stained glass windows were beautiful and there wasn’t anything that we felt was lacking in the condo. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were huge and the beds were comfortable. There were three of us staying there and we never even turned on the tv. So much to do and see! We kept the doors open for the five days that we were there and didn’t see a single bug. The condo was clean and inviting and you won’t regret staying there! Thank you Skeeter and Tom!

Loved the condo and the views

Loved the condo and the views and amenities. Extremely spacious. Also, loved that the owner was so attentive and answered all of my questions honestly and never seemed bothered by my questions. The only drawback was the busy road in front of the condo. The walk to town was from the back and very pleasant and took about 8 minutes. So it is a non-issue as far as I am concerned. A wonderful stay. Thank you.

Great PV Rental- Expansive Views and Fantastic Loc

Just spent a week at Tom and Skeeter's place in PV.... I probably have spent the past 15 years traveling to PV and always rent condos/villas in the south end of town-- and this was one of the best. Took my niece for her 21st birthday and we had a ball.....things to note....and why I picked their place.. Location-- great location... right near the beach- safe, close, easy walk to the beach and near all the restaurants and stuff you want to be close to in town-- away from all the touristy stuff; Condo- huge for the two of us-- three bathrooms, two huge bedrooms with AC (which was a must- it was pretty hot and humid when we were there)- had everything we needed-- used the washer dryer- didn't use the kitchen other than fridge- but no need to with all the great restaurants so close; Building- there are only six units so really quiet-- but like other reviews- this is on the busy street so you do hear the street noise but definitely not a reason to book- just realize that you hear street noise and get over it. There is a rooftop pool too which is nice but they were working on it when we were there so we didn't get much use of it- but no biggie. Tom and Skeeter were great- very responsive and always wrote back right away if we needed anything or had any questions. One more thing--- no elevator in building but again not a reason not to stay- walk down and cab back up if you don't want to hike it back-- it is only 50 pesos back and worth the cab if you don't want to sweat it back up. Definitely a great place to book- the view is awesome and I would not hesitate to book it again next time I am in PV. Tom and Skeeter thanks for everything- J&T
