Moose Mountain Lodge - located in scenic Breckenridge, Colorado, a town that offers fun year-round. Winter offers world class skiing and snowboarding, along with snowshoeing, sledding, and ice skating. In the summer and fall months, Breckenridge offers golfing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and shops that will make you drop.

After working up an appetite, visit one of the many fine restaurants, or prepare a home cooked meal in our fully-applianced kitchen. Relax at night in front of the fireplace or in our private outdoor hot-tub. We have large screen TVs in the living room, loft, and main bedroom . There is a huge video library for all age groups, high speed internet, private outdoor hot tub. There is a fully applianced kitchen with granite countertops.
We know once you see all that historic Breckenridge has to offer, you will want to return each year.
We do recommend a 4WD vehicle when driving in the mountain areas of Colorado during the winter months.

Great cabin - great location
We loved our stay at this cabin. We had my MIL (69) myself and my husband, our 25 yr old daughter, 17 yr old daughter, 7 yr old son, and 3 yr old grandson. This house had something for everyone. The location was great. We didn’t have to waste time traveling because it was so close to everything, but private enough that we felt like we were deep in the mountains. We did see moose in the yard our first day there! The kitchen was well stocked. Having a garage was so nice! Thanks for having sleds in the garage for us to use, too! We’ll be back.

Year 2 in the books!
This is the second year we stayed at this property. The home is beautiful and spacious. It is cozy and lots of living space to spread out. There are two living room areas if you want to split up. The location is close to Lot F where we park daily. The property is private and really enjoy the hot tub. This morning before we left two moose came by the kitchen window. The owner is so nice and answers messages right away. This is such a beautiful place for family and friends to stay. We had 7 adults and it worked out well. Large garage for huge cars we had. So quiet! Heading to a different mountain next year or we would book again.

Cabin Stay for Ski trip
Great location in relation to Breckenridge and the ski slopes. The owner was really responsive and assisted with recommendations. Definitely recommend this cabin for future stays and to friends and family.

Incredibly beautiful cabin in Breck
Our stay was really wonderful. The cabin is very spacious, the hot tub is great and the place had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our group and we couldn’t recommend this place and the owners enough. Incredibly quick communication which was very much appreciated. Would be keen to stay here when we come back!

Exceptionally Fantastic
This home was spectacular in that it has absolutely everything you need for a warm, comfortable stay. The hosts were easy to contact and very kind and helpful. The cabin is spacious with so many “extras” such as spices, tp, paper towels, tissues, crockpots, pans, dishes, the list just goes on and on. The decor gives you the feeling of being in the wilderness. The location is easy to get to also. This is the absolute best cabin we’ve stayed in thru VRBO. Best of all, it’s pet friendly ❤️ Better book it fast for the best stay ever! Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us ❤️We will be back!

We had both wanted to visit Colorado someday since we were young adults. We first visited Breckenridge during the summer of 1990 while trading our timeshare and totally fell in love with the town. Two years later, we purchased a condo at Beaver Run which we owned for many years and had many great vacations with our then young sons. We later decided to sell our condo and build our own home for our extended family and especially for our dogs to enjoy Colorado

Why they chose this property

We built our log home in 2002 so we could enjoy hiking year round with our dogs one block from our home. We want anyone that stays in our home to truly enjoy their family vacation. For us, that means their entire family, including pets, which is why our log home is pet friendly.

What makes this property unique

When looking at floor plans to build this home, we wanted a very open concept which we have. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one huge room, with the loft overlooking this great room. We also wanted a first floor master suite for family members and guests that have difficulty climbing stairs.
