The Moana Hale (means "beautiful ocean home") is a "Lucky" Bennett, a local award winning Architect on the Big Island of Hawaii designed air-conditioned home. This two story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath oceanfront vacation home lends itself to a relaxing fun vacation along the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.

The Moana Hale features a main entrance into a peaceful luscious garden among beautiful Koi ponds prior to your entrance into the main house. A 'Lucky' Bennett feature in all his award winning homes. Slate floors and high ceilings throughout the home complete the finishing touches.

The kitchen is professionally designed. KOA kitchen cabinets with black granite counter tops, stainless steel double sink, with stainless steel appliances, stainless dishwasher, stainless oven, stainless warmer, two door 'sub-zero' refrigerator, one door 'sub-zero' wine fridge, black granite counter top bar area with stainless steel sink. Eight KOA barstools on kitchen island overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The Dining room has a large four feet by eight feet glass dining room table with six large chairs.

The billiard area overlooks the Pacific Ocean with a state of the Art billiard table, leveled, and maintained annually.

The breathtaking KOA entertainment center has a large LED HDTV large screen television, stereo system, cable television, DVD, Apple TV. A large 'L' shaped down sofa overlooking the entertainment center for your seating pleasure.

Conveniently located 2.3 mile south of downtown Kailua-Kona pier, 1 mile from town and 10 miles south of Honokohau Boat Harbor.

Hale Hoku, is located within the unique, private and gated Kona Beach Bungalows Estate. This Estate is considered the only private, oceanfront, vacation rental Estate on the Big Island of Hawaii and can accommodate up to 34 people. (15 Bedrooms and 11 baths).

The homes, all on the same Estate, can be rented out separately for couples or family getaways as well. All of the beautiful bungalows share the estate’s common grounds, the lava rock saltwater pool and Jacuzzi, lushly landscaped yard overlooking the Pacific Ocean, enchanting koi ponds and barbecue grills.

Nearby, you will find Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean activities. Minutes to a wide assortment of restaurants and shopping, and a great home base to explore the many wonders of the island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!

Down the street are snorkel and surf beaches. Very close to town and activities, seconds from the shoreline, just a short walk to watch turtles, surfers and beautiful sunsets.

Walk across the street to the 'Alii Gardens Market Place'. Here you can find handmade gifts and local produce.

We rented the Hale Moana for our 50th Anniversary celebration with our children (along with a second unit on the same property). Worked beautifully. We had the actual party on the lawn (which needs to be reserved) in a beautiful evening sunset. Very well appointed property. Master suite is gorgeous, but does need A/C because of limited cross ventilation.
