At The Perch on the South Shore of Lake Travis, we believe that spending time with loved ones is what makes for a truly memorable vacation!! Our secluded cove is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that nature has to offer, including napping in the hammock, fishing, boating, and warming up by the bonfire. And because we love our four-legged friends, we're happy to welcome pets to our community! So come on down and enjoy a great vacation with us! Life is better at the lake.

The communal area is large enough for privacy but also allows for a way to meet new friends. Who knows, your new best friend may be there now. Come experience why guests return year after year.

The Perch, which was once part of Robin's Nest Bed & Breakfast, is a two-bedroom unit which is part of a duplex located on the top floor overlooking Stewart's Cove. It can comfortably accommodate up to six people, but no more than six. It has its own entrance from the outside via a set of stairs. You can also inquire about renting both the Perch and the Nest for a larger group.

****As of March 2024. There is no water left in the cove for swimming or watercrafts, due to Lake Travis lake levels being very low.*****

This home has many amazing aspects that make it hard for guests to say goodbye, including:

- The 24 ft covered patio overlooks the beautiful Lake Travis. It can be accessed from the front bedroom and the living room; has a dining table for your enjoyment as well. This will be the perfect spot for you to start your day with a cup of coffee as the world wakes up, or end the day with a nice glass of wine as the sun sets.
- The Perch shares property with two other residences (which can be rented with The Perch if you’re traveling in a large group) that all have access to the boat dock, 150 feet of shoreline, and access to the common area. The common area (shared space) provides: a large fire pit, hammock, and the dock!
- Dogs (limit of 1) are most certainly welcome to accompany you on your vacation if they are under 40 pounds and are up to date on their vaccinations! All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

If you’ve had your fun in the sun and are needing a night on the town, hop in the car and you can be and keep it weird in Downtown Austin - just 20 miles away! The surrounding Texas Hill Country also offers plenty of shops, restaurants, wineries, and hikes for you to indulge in. Or, simply walk down the street and enjoy a meal on the water at the Sundancer Grill - just a two minute walk from The Perch!

The Perch offers a peaceful alternative for those looking for a 'staycation'. Free Wifi and Lake Travis right out the back door make this the perfect spot for families, or those needing to work from home.

** If you are traveling with your furry friend - please note that there is a $100 pet fee that will be added to your reservation cost once reservation is confirmed.


Policies & House Rules:
- Non-smoking residence; Smoking is strictly prohibited inside, but you can smoke outside.
- No Open Flames in home.
- Absolutely No events, parties or large gatherings
- small dogs (under 45lbs) are allowed with a Non Refundable pet fee. 1-dog limit, NO CATS. Pet fee will be added after reservation is confirmed
- Pets MUST be kept on a leash at all times when outside
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve home
- Check-in time is 3pm; Check-out time is 10am
