Elegant ocean view home that has been a family home since 2000. This home is what we would describe as comfortable elegance. This part of the island is a place where there is always sand whether it's high tide, low tide, or any tide! Just as an fyi, properties south of Arnold Road cannot make this claim.

As you enter this home, you will immediately feel relaxed and ready to kick back with your family and friends. Located 100 steps from the beach with a tranquil feel for your family. You'll love the ocean views and the breezes from the porches.

This home has 3 levels which offer privacy and fun for all of the members of your family.

1st Floor - As you enter the home from the front porch, you will note a beautiful entry that holds 2 bedrooms, the sleeping porch and 2 baths. One of the bedrooms has 2 sets of bunk beds which sleeps 4. This bedroom has a bath which is also shared with the sleeping porch. The sleeping porch has a sleeper sofa which sleeps 2 individuals. It is also used as a secondary family room that has a tv/dvd and Wii for the kids in the family. The 2nd bedroom is the 2nd master suite, with a luxurious queen bed and en suite bath with a private tv for relaxation. This is perfect for two families because neither couple gets the short end of the bedroom choices.

The 2nd level is where the main fun begins with your family. This area has a large kitchen that has everything a cook could imagine, a dining table that accommodates 8 with a bar that accommodates 3 additional people for eating. The large screen TV is perfect for viewing at all angles on this level and especially for those movie nights or sports times that we all enjoy. There are plenty of board games for those family game nights that you might have while on vacation.

As you enter the covered porch, you will note 4 wonderful cushioned rockers and a porch swing that will catch the wonderful ocean breezes during the day and night. We especially paid attention to the rockers because we wanted to have the most comfortable seating to be able to sit and ponder life.

The the master suite takes up the entire third level. This master suite was decorated in a wonderful relaxed mode. There is a king bed with a Frette duvet and 700 thread count sheets. There is a 42 inch tv on the wall in front of the bed for viewing. There is a wonderful seating area to enjoy for those quiet moments that you want to enjoy with your wonderful partner. In the bath, there is a jetted tub for two surrounded by candles. There is also a separate shower and two door mirrored closet. There are two balconies off this floor for viewing those magnificent sunsets.

You'll love the high ceilings, rich natural pine floors, and plantation shutters throughout. Walk about 80 steps out the front door and you’ll enjoy full privileges at Coast Cottages' fabulous beach front pools and pavilion. This is a place where you will create many wonderful memories with your family and friends. You will be challenged to find a home that is as well decorated and loved as this one for a better price!

The beach is spectacular here and there is lots to do with your family. Local golf courses - my favorite is The Hampton. For all you kayakers - the marsh is right near us. Local tours daily and friends have loved to do this. For the kid in you, two waterparks. One is on our sister island - Jekyll and down in Jacksonville. Both are great, I prefer the one in Jacksonville. Lots of food, fun and great biking trails for all.
