Todd Clark purchased this farmhouse in 2013
Part of family farm.
Barn space and paddocks adjoin this property for those in need of both.
Very well kept property with lots of space inside and out. Located back a long farm lane and off the roadway with horse farms all around. Decorated inside with neat horse racing prints and memorabilia. Nice, very large kitchen area. Comfortable living room and large screen TV. Nice, large master bedroom with comfortable bed and walk-in closet. Also two other good bedrooms with queen beds. Fenced yard in front and tile floors in kitchen and hallway area make great quarters for pets when travelers are out and about. Large backyard with covered porch and chair swings looking out onto horse fields. This is an excellent option for lodging in the Lexington area - 15 minutes to downtown Lexington, 5 minutes to Georgetown, 1/2 hour to Frankfort, 20 minutes to half hour to Versailles. Owner is responsive and reasonable. Book it.
Great location - we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the farm while being close to most of the local attractions. The house was very clean and well kept. I would definitely stay again next time we are in Lexington.
Peaceful setting, convenient to the places we wanted to see. We enjoyed having our coffee on the porch swing in the morning, watching the horses and listening to the birds. The house was very quiet, but the layout was not quite what we expected from the description, as two bedrooms and bath were on one end of the house, and the 3rd bedroom was across the house, off the kitchen. The bed in the third bedroom was extremely firm with a squeaky frame and we did not use it. Fortunately, there were extra blankets so one could sleep on the sofa. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, as well as glasses, dishes, utensils etc in the kitchen, along with soap for the dishwasher, but the carpets had not been cleaned or vacuumed prior to our stay. And we did note evidence that a mouse had been in the kitchen. The door handle in the hall bedroom was not functional. Fortunately, we noted that before we closed the door as there would have been no way to open the door without removing the pins and taking it off the hinge. Overall, it was a quiet, serene location with a short drive to many of the places we wanted to see. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax together in the living room in the evening and watch a movie, or have breakfast together before we headed out without the crush of sharing a community space with many other guests in a hotel.
This pet friendly house was great for our needs while in Lexington.
The fenced yard and linoleum floors worked great for our 2 boxers.
The 2000 + square feet home was very accommodating for our stay and the location to Lexington and the surrounding attractions and activities was perfect.
Highly recommended this over any hotel/motel.
Great Place!
Thanks Todd
My fiancée, her daughter and I absolutely loved it. The kitchen is definitely fully stocked, you could feed an army in there. We loved having horses right outside to see as my stepdaughter loves them. It really made a difference for her. The location of the home to many attractions was pleasant, as we knew it wasn't a far drive. We are already planning a return trip with friends.
We loved our time spent at the ranch house. The property is nestled within a working farm, but you'd never know there was work going on with the peace, quiet and beautiful scenery. Wonderful accommodations and roomy with all your needs covered. A few spiderwebs on big country porch, and a couple of dog piles around, but it's out in the country! We can deal with it. Never once was disturbed by anyone, no traffic noise, or city lights. Pure peace and relaxation. Thank you Todd. We'd love to return and stay another week. G-Town and Lex are God's country. Hated to leave.
