This recently refurbished direct beachfront condo offers two bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms and an open and spacious kitchen and living room with private balcony looking directly onto the pool area and beach. The kitchen and both bathrooms were totally refurbished in November 2014.

The master bedroom features a king size bed, a 40 inch flat screen TV and a large walk in closet. There is a view of the beach and the ocean from the bed! The second bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed and has superb direct ocean views. For guests requiring additional sleeping accommodations, a queen size sofa bed is available in the living area. This sofa bed is new in July 2017.

The fully equipped modern kitchen also has ocean views and there is a comfortable dining area. WIFI is available at no charge throughout the unit and over 300 television channels are available in both the master bedroom and on the 50 inch flat screen in the living area.

The balcony is ideal for watching the sunrise whilst enjoying a fresh cup of coffee or tea and the full panoramic view. It also overlooks the pool and lawns where there are charcoal grills available for cookouts and hammocks to while away the afternoons.

For those guests looking for some exercise the building offers a small gym with ocean and pool views and there are two recreational paths directly outside the door of the building. One for walking or running and one for biking. The paths extend all the way from Bal Harbour right down to South Beach and bikes are available for rent very near by.

There is a designated parking space in the upper garage which you can self park or use the valet if you would rather. If you are without a vehicle, no problem, the building is very well located on the bus route making it easy to get to Aventura Mall and other nearby towns and attractions. If you prefer to explore by foot, there are plenty of restaurants, shops and Publix grocery store within a short walk from the condo. Surfside is a very safe and quite section of the beach but just 10 minutes from the nightlife of South Beach for those looking for a little more action.

About The Owner

My husband and I live in the Caribbean islands but often visit Florida and our family there, we have been looking for a condo like this for over a year and finally found just the right one! Not too far from the airports of Miami International and Fort Lauderdale but in a safe and quiet stretch of the beach suitable for families as well as couples and singles.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2013

Why The Owner chose Surfside

We chose this property because we wanted a unit with direct ocean views and southern exposure.

We like the fact that we can easily walk to shops and restaurants and the bus route to Aventura Mall and South Beach is very close so if you decide not to rent a car it is still OK.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the no hassle elements of this building, easy parking, can take the stairs rather than the lift if we prefer as the condo is just 2 stories from the pool. The fact that you can walk to all nearby amenities is a major plus. We enjoy the running and biking trails directly at our door step and the amazing views from every room!

Great vacation

We stayed here for a 10 day vacation! View was amazing, enjoyed sitting on balcony with my coffee every morning and watching the sun come up!! Everything that we needed was there, kitchen appliances, towels, beach chairs etc!! Owner was easy to get ahold of and checking in was a breeze! We had AC issues for 2 of those days, but nothing the owner could take care of as it was the whole building! We arrived early and got in touch with owner who replied immediately and let us check in early! All and all it was a fun relaxing vacation!

Wonderful vacation

Our vacation was just what we were hoping for. The condo was had everything to make our stay perfect. The view from the balcony was our favorite. I think the window in the main bathroom should be frosted and the water could drain better in when taking a shower, didn’t care for the water around my ankles. But problem was resolved , used the 2nd bedroom shower which was very nice. Contacted the owner on a very small issue and she was very quick to get back to me. Appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect location, Easy check in and check out, confortably furnished condo with great beach acces

This condo has everything you need to enjoy the beach. Easy check in and check out. Confortable practical parking without the need of obnoxious valet service.

The building is perfectly located but it needs better maintenance. The exterior looks a bit run down and the balcony of the unit has some cracked painting and chipped moldings. The inside of the unit with modern apliaces and big tv sets belong in a better managed property. The elevator was missing some buttons.

The acces door from the beach did not lock properly which is a safety concern (anybody can acces the building and the doorman is practically non existent)

Also the property description mentions washer and dryer but they are not inside the unit, they are next to the elevator and you need to use a pay card that you charge in the garage to use them. Not a major issue if you won't stay long.

The unit also has some cracked tiles next to the kitchen and the master bathroom window does not open properly and has peeled tinting that makes it look drab

This has the potential of being a perfect vacation spot if not for the fixable issues mentioned.

Would I returned?? I’m torn beacuse I loved the ease of check in and check out, the great view and uncrowded beach, the convenient parking, and nicely furnished unit but hated the unkept yard that could be a gem, the run down exterior that looks like you are staying at a third rate stablishment which contradicts the confort of the condo.

Price was according to acomodations and might use it again if only they do a thorough building maintenance.

All in all I would give the building a 7 and the owner would get a 10 for her excellent customer service with fast replies.

Great view from balcony, but some items need fixing.

On the whole, the condo was clean and set up well, with a nicely renovated kitchen. The best part was the balcony which had a direct view of the ocean. One negative aspect of the condo is the window in the main bathroom which doesn't allow for privacy. The frosting on the window is chipped, so there wasn't any real privacy when taking a shower. (That definitely needs fixing!) Also, the linens provided by the owner were kind of old, and some were quite stained. Another drawback of this building (not the individual condo) is that the grassy area in front of the pool seems to be a gathering spot for dog walkers. Many people gather there throughout the day and let the dogs off leash, and some don't pick up after their dogs--so you really have to watch where you step! The management really should have a lock put on the outer gate, as it seems that people from all over come there to congregate with their dogs. All in all, I would likely stay here again if some of these problems were fixed!

Grand condo bien équipé à 2 pas de la plage

Tout est dans le titre. Beaucoup d'espace, balcon avec vue sur la mer, grandes chambres dont une avec très petite salle de bains. Le condo a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut: cuisine bien fournie en tout, chaises et jouets de plage, sac à roulettes pour faire les courses à pied, matériel pour bébés, etc. À 10-15 minutes à pied d'un Publix et de quelques restaurants. Au deuxième étage avec vue sur la piscine. Tranquille quand nous y étions. Édifice a besoin d'un peu d'amour mais le condo lui-même est très propre et sans souci. Élaine répond rapidement aux demandes.
