Superbe maison pour un week end entre amis
Nous avons passé un super week-end dans cette grande maison où rien ne manquait. Nous y avons fêté le nouvel an. Plusieurs chambres se situent à l'ecart de la piece de vie, très pratique pour que les enfants dorment au calme. Piece de vie magnifique, plusieurs cuisines et salons. Nous y reviendrons peut être en été pour profiter de la piscine

Beautiful relaxing stay
The beautifully renovated property is in a great location if you're looking for a quiet stay, the grounds are stunning and the large patio and pool are great additions. The owners supplied everything we could have needed, garden and board games, kitchen equipment and basic cooking ingredients. Hair driers, blankets, even a first aid kit. This all made our stay even more comfortable. The house is very spacious, even with 12 of us staying, it wasn't crowded, there are enough communal spaces for everyone to gather together or branch off if wanted. The owners were very responsive before, during and after our stay with our questions and requests for recommendations. The only slight negative we found, which is in no way a reflection of the owners. The flies, wasps and hornets were a nuisance during our stay in mid August The addition of some wasps traps would have been great. Obviously their presence can not be helped by the owners.

Mooi charmant vakantiehuis
Charmante woning, ideaal om met familie te verblijven, volledig en stijlvol ingericht, super onderhouden zwembad. Alleen zijn er in de directe omgeving weinig bezienswaardigheden.

Vacances entre amis/enfants
Très bon séjour à Beaulieu! La maison est très grande avec de nombreux espaces ! Elle est très bien équipée et est à proximité de commodités (10 min supermarché, 5min boulangerie). La piscine est bien protégé par des barrières, parfait pour les enfants en bas âge ! Nous reviendrons sûrement !

We are a family of five who having enjoyed many French holidays with family and friends, decided in 2004 to buy a holiday home we could share with others. The property needed extensive renovation and now offers a heated, saline pool, large garden, comfortable and spacious accommodation and everything we feel is important to make for the perfect holiday retreat.

Why they chose this property

We know and have loved the Charente for many years. Our hamlet is one of the highest points in the Charente, so the air is clear and views over surrounding woodlands are lovely.
The property is an old stone farmhouse with two barns and not only offers abounding space but also lots of character.

What makes this property unique

Large boules/pétanque pitch and a deep pool with diving board, both offer hours of fun!
