Fantastic.
The Sacred Valley is indeed just that it has a magic about it that is truly extraordinary. The house exceeded my expectations in all respects not something that is my universal experience with a number of previous rentals. Bruno was a great host and helped with a number of arrangements and contacts whilst we were there, and with a contact for arranging out trip to Machu Pichu. Flora true house keeper was a delight and cooked for us on a couple of nights. Anyway thanks again Bruno we’ll be back. Sion and Louise

Attention Travelers! This house is a great choice!
Our two families of four stayed here for eight nights that included Christmas 2019. The house is both beautiful and comfortable and is located in a little gated oasis called Taita Wasi. I highly recommend this house for the following reasons: 1. Staying in Uruabamba gives you a real taste of Peru in the Sacred Valley. The town has few tourists, but all of the amenities you could want including some very good restaurants. 2. Flora: She is there daily to clean the house and make breakfast for your whole crew. She was great and her breakfasts are excellent. 3. The owner's mini van: Renting a car in Cusco is both expensive and risky (once you see how the locals drive!) but driving in the Sacred Valley is easy. This is the one property that has this unique and useful feature. We did not use it every day, but on the days we used it, the car gave us the freedom to do whatever we wanted. On our last day we used it to spend the day in Ollaytatambo without having guides or taxis. Warning to US citizens who have only driven cars with automatic transmissions - this is a manual transmission car, like most of the cars in Peru. 4. Our crew decided on the two-day Machu Picchu tour with one day on the Inca Trail. It made this house a great base of operation for that tour and to see the other attractions in the Sacred Valley as well. As a aside: I do recommend the two-day MP option because it give your more time to experience other things rather than committing 4-5 days just for MP. If you want more trail time there are plenty of options. Finally, Bruno, the owner, was great to work with and addressed our every need including arranging for transportation from and back to Cusco. We thank him for offering his home to us! Dave, New Orleans, LA, USA

This is a beautiful house in the Sacred Valley that easily housed our party of 5 people. Indeed, many more can fit into one of the rooms where there are a number of bunkbeds and a loft bed. The house is located in a "condominium" complex of about 5 houses about 1/2 mile from the center of Urubamba. There is a lovely housekeeper, Flora, who makes breakfast for you as part of the fee (but you must pay for the groceries, which she will buy fo you). She can also make other meals for an additional fee (we did not need this service). The owner has a car that he rents to visitors. He can also provide a driver for an additional fee. We opted to hire the driver which was definitely the right choice. The young man who drove us was very knowledgeable about the area and was a very safe driver. Another feature is the opportunity to have a local chef cook dinner for you in the house. We also opted for this option and had a very nice dinner along with good conversations with the chef and his two assistants. The owner can help organize taxi service from Cusco or Ollantaytambo (and perhaps other locations) with the local tax company. Staying at the house was a high point of our two week visit to Peru.

Slice of Paradise
We are a family of 5 and absolutely LOVED our stay here. The house is located in a gated tree and flower lined complex. Walking down the path to our house was like walking through a beautiful garden with all of the colorful flowers. Our kids loved running around in the back yard and playing on the swing set while we relaxed on the outdoor couches after a long day of touring. We really appreciated the outdoor space and quiet at night. We used this house as our base and did many day trips from here (Horseback riding to Maras & Moray, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Cusco etc), and couldn't be happier with our decision. And having a washer/dryer with kids was an added bonus! Bruno was very responsive to all of my questions, and was quick to help with a last minute change in plans. He also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and stop at a (large) grocery store in Cusco which was super helpful and I highly recommend stocking up in Cusco. There's also a phone at the house to call a taxi for excursions, which is a much cheaper alternative then tours if you don't need a guide. . We highly recommend this cozy and super scenic house. Thank you to Bruno for a wonderful stay!

Luxury and comfort in the middle of the sacred Valley
Our family of 5 thoroughly from Texas enjoyed our stay at Casa Urubamba. Highlights included: --3 full bedrooms and baths with ability to comfortably sleep 10 in beds --Access to 8 passenger van that is parked at the house that allowed us to get to all places in Sacred Valley very easily --5-10 minutes from downtown Urubamba, 15 minutes from Ollantaytambo and Via Ferrata zip lines, 45 minutes from Pisac Market, 45 minutes from Moray and other ruins. --Staff at house was gracious and attended to our every need. --Breakfast every morning on huge patio prepared by housekeeper --Plenty of hang out area inside and outside house Highly recommend this wonderful house for anyone's stay in the Sacred Valley.
