Dear Charlie & Susie, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. The house was immaculate, &
stocked with all the supplies we needed for our two month stay. The best part was meeting both of you. We now have two new gracious friends, couldn't ask for more.

Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, well-furnished, and whisper quiet. It's about a fifteen minute drive from Williamstown. The wood stove is a nice touch. The complimentary cookies were delicious and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.
We were looking for a place to stay that was convenient to North Adams, MA for the Freshgrass Festival. This house was perfect. Quiet, comfortable and clean, with a large screened porch. Everything was carefully prepared including sweetbread and chocolate chip cookies, with many other supplies in the fridge. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend it.
We found this home to be even better than in the pictures. The house has a spacious, well-appointed kitchen, roomy living room and a nice bedroom with its own bath. TV and cable system were first rate, as we were able to record the Patriots game while we were out to dinner. The unit features a beautiful screened-in porch and a nice sunny deck on the side. It lies in a peaceful quiet setting back in the woods.
While the home is set back in the woods, you are very close to North Adams, Williamstown and Bennington. We had dinner the first night on the open air deck at the Madison Brewing Company in Bennington. The next night we got take out, bought pie at the Apple Barn on route 7 and had a wonderful meal on the deck.
The hospitality was great with fresh snacks, home-made cookies and a loaf of cake waiting for us along with champagne in the fridge. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would need, should you wish to cook.
We highly recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed out time at his comfortable house in the forest. Everything worked well; house was immaculately clean; and hosts were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet and the occasional animal noises from the farm down the road. House was central to Williamstown, Bennington, and North Adams. We hiked trails at the Clark, enjoyed challenging theatre at Williamstown Festival, and saw some excellent art at the Williams College Art Museum. A special treat were the delicious cookies and loaf. Heartily recommend.
We greatly enjoyed this beautifully furnished, immaculately clean house located high up on a small mountain in beautiful, green Vermont. We spent many hours on the large, comfortable screened-in porch, enjoying the aromatic, cool air and blissful quiet. The house is located near Williamstown with its excellent museums and theater, and going north, Bennington and Manchester also with enjoyable museums. We were near many farms for fresh eggs, corn, tomatoes, blueberries, maple syrup, etc. For exercise we walked the roads near the cabin--quite challenging given the hills--and explored nearby Field Farm. There are also many nearby hikes at Mt. Greylock and the Appalachian Trail.
Charlie and Susi were wonderful hosts--readily available for any questions or problems that might arise. And the icing on the cake was the wonderful welcome we received: home-baked cookies and cake, as well as fruit and other supplies in the refrig. We will definitely be back.
Just as advertised. Great location if you need to be in Williamstown or Bennington. Loved the outdoor and enclosed decks. Owners very helpful and available.
