Two large bedrooms each with king beds featuring high end Damask Charter Club 550 thread count sheets and duvet covers. New Sealy king bed in the master August 2017. 2nd king can be split into two twins with advanced notice. There is a queen sleeper sofa and an Aero bed air mattress. Also equipped with Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, coolers, swim jackets & noodles, boogie boards, numerous beach & pool items, a crib, high chair and a 3 wheel stroller. Both baths have dual sinks, separate shower and tub.

Great unit for the whole family

This unit was an excellent place for our family of 5 to stay. I enjoyed cooking breakfast and having it out on the Lanai each morning before our daily treks to the beaches and other activities. My wife loved having the blender to blend up a fruit smoothie each day. We had all the amenities that everyone needed.

I loved how the doors open all the way, and every time we got back to the condo, the first thing I did was open up all the doors and just enjoy the Maui air and take in that view of the mountain. Sure, you can't see the ocean from the unit, but this back corner unit is so quiet and peaceful we were very happy to not have people walking by and instead have the waterfall sounds. And the layout of Honua Kai is such that the back units are farther away from the other tower, making it even more private. There is an ipod docking station which I liked dropping my iphone into and running Pandora to some Hawaiian music made it feel so relaxing. The wind in this corner unit does tend to get strong and blow some chairs around, but most of the time we hung out on the nice large table by the master bedroom sheltered from the wind while the kids liked the inside table so they could have their devices (sigh) plugged in.

At first we thought the unit was a bit far from the beach, but quickly realized it is in a great spot, with access to both sets of elevators that head straight to the parking garage. We utilized the garage a lot and made it super easy to load up groceries or quickly run back up to the room when someone forgot something. Our ONLY complaint about the unit is not with the unit itself, but that Honua Kai seems to not like stairs except for required fire code. Being on the 2nd floor, we did not want to wait for the slow elevator, and hunted down for the faster, more exercise friendly, sets of stairs. There are 2 sets fairly convenient to the room, but only to go DOWN (you can't use them to come back up since the bottom floor doors have no access entry). Some days we waited a while for the elevator.

The sand toys in the closet were the best thing for my 6 year old who decided snorkeling wasn't so much for him, so we took that everywhere we went, along with the great beach chairs and coolers to tote our stuff around the island.

The owner is super friendly and very helpful all the way leading up to our arrival, including a welcome text as soon as we landed with the information to get into our unit right away.

It was really nice .... I would have liked to have a bbq on the lanai and a drying rack for your wet suits and towels! But the room is great! Kitchen nice and equipped. Beach items in the closet were nice too

Wonderful Room on a Spectacular Property

This room is as advertised. The balcony is huge and provides a great place to enjoy the territorial views. The kitchen is very nice. The bathrooms are spacious and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The grounds have very nice pools and having Dukes on the grounds is so convenient for breakfasts and dinners or even just food during your time at the pool.

Will (the owner) and Monty (property manager) are both great with their communication and follow up on any needs that you might have.

I would suggest asking the owner about any construction around the property as over time the view could be impacted behind the property where they have cordoned off a section for some form of construction. It was difficult to tell what the overall plan was for the area but if they put any structure there it would have an impact on the view as it is right by this room location.

When completed the low density Luana Garden Villas will have only 4 townhouses per cluster. They will be only 2 stories tall. In no way will it block any of the gorgeous West Maui mountain views. If anything it will block what little road noise we hear at the Konea tower. At prices up to 2.6 million, they will be tastefully designed and the landscaping will be extensive and beautiful. There will remain a long and wide buffer between the villas and the tower, so the condo's open feeling of space will remain. I am very pleased with the project and feel it will add to the value of the condo and enhance Honua Kai's upscale resort feel. Aloha, Will

Felt like home.

This condo came equipped with everything. We traveled with two young kids and the beach toys where a big hit including the child size life jackets.

Fantastic well stocked condo, great for families!

The condo was spacious, clean and well stocked. Our family of 5 was comfortable and had a wonderful time. We used the snorkeling gear, chairs, beach toys and life jackets. The staff at Honua Kai was also very helpful in regards to finding restaurants and beaches to visit. Hope to be back!
