Otherwise it’s just 10 minutes to Alpine Meadows, Tahoe City, and Truckee. In addition, this condo is located on the valley floor, so there are no icy, steep, roads or driveways to navigate.
SPRING-SUMMER-FALL ADVANTAGE – LOCATION!
The trail head for the beautiful Shirley Canyon hike is steps away, and there's a pedestrian/bicycle/skate trail that takes you through Squaw Valley, along the Truckee River to Tahoe City and beyond. By car, it's just 10 minutes from rafting the Truckee River, a swim in Lake Tahoe, or a stroll in historic downtown Truckee.
CONVENIENT AMENITIES AND TRANSPORTATION: A short walk delivers you to the local market, ATMs, video rentals, yoga studio, fitness, and more. Plus, being located at the base of Squaw Valley gives you access to the free SV shuttle, the free Resort at Squaw Creek shuttle, and TART, the public bus.
OLYMPIC VALLEY:
There are numerous activities right out the door step, and in the valley. Of course snow skiing dominates the winter months in Squaw Valley, but there are plenty of other activities to explore and other seasons to enjoy. THE VILLAGE AT PALISADES TAHOE:
Walk to the Village at Squaw Valley for some family summer-fun, including miniature golf, skyjump, climbing wall, candle making, and paintball. Adults might enjoy checking out the various shops, restaurants, or even the spa. Many like the wine bar, the Irish pub, or just finding some live music. The year-round aerial cable car will lift you 2000’ to the top of Palisades Tahoe for panoramic views, hiking, swimming pool, tennis, skating, food, and drink.
THE RESORT AT SQUAW CREEK:
Take a two minute drive, the free Squaw Creek shuttle, an easy bike ride, or even ski to The Resort at Squaw Creek to enjoy their amenities. They have restaurants, shops, championship golf, snow sledding, ice skating, cross country trails, and even dog sledding. Frequent shuttles depart from The Village.
And that’s just in Squaw Valley. Remember, Lake Tahoe is just 10 minutes away.
