Beachfront Property on Private Moody Beach

Please note: our availability is fully up to date on VRBO……We have no availability in late May, June, July or August. We do have a week in early September! We stay at the house ourselves in July/Aug so don't anticipate availability during those months in 2024. I share this because we get many inquiries about July/Aug and the house simply isn't available.

Moody Beach is a private beach located in Wells, Maine. With only ~ 100 homes along the beach, it stretches from Ogunquit to Moody Point.

Undoubtedly one of the finest residences on Moody. Constructed in 2011 - this magnificent property exudes a fantastic combination of charm & casual elegance. An amazing open concept floor plan w/ five bedrooms, five bathrooms, incredible kitchen & a stunning living room/dining/den combination space. Hardwood floors throughout, spectacular gas fireplace, gorgeous built-ins & fabulous tile work. Impressive landscaping accentuates the natural surroundings of this fantastic waterfront location. Exceptional home!

Moody is a private beach, so beach access is limited to oceanfront property owners/renters.

House has every imaginable amenity including gas bbq grill, numerous tv's, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, hair dryers, etc etc

Please place suitcases on racks, not beds/chairs. Bath towels are provided, however please bring your own beach towels.
Please rinse sand off before entering house. There are water buckets for dipping your feet and an outdoor hot/cold water hose to shower off.
Garbage is to be placed by the curb on Tuesdays and Friday before checking out.

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

I surprised my mom for her 70th birthday with a trip to Maine. This house was absolutely perfect for our family! It was incredibly clean and had amazing ocean front views. We enjoyed every minute! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer! Would love to come visit and stay again. Maine is so incredibly charming, and this house was the perfect retreat!

Fantastic home on the beach!
We are thrilled to have spent our multi generational vacation in this spectacular home again this year. This is the perfect house for enjoying the view, walks on the beach, relaxing on the patio, playing games or working on a puzzle. Rick has stocked the house with everything needed during the stay. We can’t wait to return next year.

After many years of vacationing on Moody Beach, my wife Kim and I recently purchased this lovely beachfront home. My great grandfather built the 5th house on the beach back in 1912 and my family has been staying there throughout the summers ever since. We love and appreciate the sun rises and the memories created while spending time at the beach. We currently live in Dublin, Ireland w/ our two boys, yet are New Englanders through and through.
