Nice place, odd owner.

No problems with the condition or location of the property, it suited our needs perfectly. However, the owner was hard to deal with. When we arrived we noticed that the internet was not working. My wife and I both run our own businesses, so having the web was the main reason we chose this rental. When we brought the internet challenge to the attention of the owner, she "barked" at us, saying "Please don't stress me out about this, if it's so important....go to the library and use their internet!"

We left the place as clean as we found it, aside from two bags of trash we had moved to the front entry way for easy disposal by the barely needed clean up crew. When I returned to the airport in Madison Wisconsin, I was stunned to have received a voice message from the owner. "I can't believe how rude you were to leave two bags of trash at the property". The message went on with a nasty tone, and it was totally uncalled for.

Bottom line: Nice place....odd owner.

Owner's Response: Odd client, , he told me the Internet was not working on sat then called on Sunday. My computer guy addressed it immediately on Monday and they were up and running. There's a dumpster at the end of the street which he new about and chose to leave me his garbage which stunk up my place ,when I had clients coming in. My computer guys office is closed on the week ends. I gave him the option of the library ,where most people go under these circumstances.. don't want him back again for sure.....just gave him an option for internet. That's what I do when my internet goes down on the weekend. The library is all set up for that....

Great location with great amenities. Very large and spacious, with all the comforts of home. Close to all the sights and easy to locate. Beautiful accommodation for 1-8 people! Really enjoyed our stay!

Very pleased with Kodiak Condo

The condo was very clean and all necessary items such as towels, sheets, and even laundry soap and trash bags were available. It did lack an iron and ironing board which we would have used but managed without. The view of the bay from the deck in the mornings was so wonderful with our first cup of coffee. It was close to kinfolk that live in Kodiak which made it especially great. We were all very pleased with our stay.
