We are in the Konea Building, which is the newer building, featuring: the meandering family pool, the quiet pool, Ho'ola Spa, fitness center, and Whaler's General Store.
The spacious lanai offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui mountains. Brand new beautiful laminate flooring throughout the condo.

Because of COVID, our cancellation policy has changed. If you can’t come because of Quarantine, full refund, even if it is reinstated just before you plan on arriving.

This New Property is the first beachfront condominium complex built on Maui in over 20 years. Our unit is a beautiful 2 BR outer courtyard unit offering spectacular views of Pacific Ocean sunsets and the West Maui Mountain sunrises. All of which can be viewed from the extensive lanai, with retractable glass nano doors that guarantee an open majestic Maui experience. The grounds are completely landscaped and include full size pools, hot tubs and Viking gas grills poolside. Other amenities include spa, fitness center, wireless internet, 60 channels of cable TV and Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player, 52” color LCD TV in living room, 32” color LCD TV in each bedroom, Queen sofa sleeper in living room WITH EXTRA PADS FOR SLEEPING COMFORT, 2-zone central air conditioning, fans and fully equipped kitchen. Legendary Duke's Restaurant has opened their only Maui location at Honua Kai, steps from the beach. Enjoy the beach side dining at Duke's or dine in on your own lanai and watch the nightly lighting of the tiki torches as the sun disappears below the horizon. A new country gourmet store recently opened in the lobby of the Konea building.
A local shopping center is within walking distance and includes supermarket, video rentals, dive & snorkel rentals, and other specialty shops. Several ocean side restaurants are also within walking distance. The charming port town of Lahaina is a short 10 minute drive away. A boardwalk now connects north and south Ka'anapali beach providing access to additional restaurants and the popular shops at Whaler’s Village in South Ka'anapali beach.

Wonderful!
We had an amazing week in Maui. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed including boogie boards and beach chairs. The towel system works well at the resort. Beds were comfortable, my son used the pull out and it was great. Had a great stay! Thanks for having us, would love to return!

We had an amazing time!
First off, the condo is exactly as pictured. It was clean and the building and grounds were beautiful. Monty was great, checking on us to make sure everything was going ok. The pools were nice and felt great on a hot day (they are heated) and the ocean in front of the resort was perfect for swimming at high tide or snorkeling anytime of day. It's close to Black Rock Beach as well as Baby beach. There is a grocery store two minutes up the road as well as a food truck park next door. The condo is close to the elevator and all of the pools and the view was gorgeous!! There were a few stains on the headboards but we aren't picky so it didn't bother us. The resort was quiet and it was an absolute pleasure to stay for a few days. The kids loved playing with the water toys in the closet and we enjoyed using some of the books in the condo. We are already planning our trip back for next year. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Wonderful location!
We loved staying at the Honua Kai. This unit is located conveniently close to the elevator that goes to the parking garage, store, gym and lobby. The on-site amenities are great and location on the boardwalk is great for walking. The property manager and owner are both responsive and easy to reach. Thank you!

We have been visiting Kaanapali for over 35 years and it is the only place we go when we visit Hawaii. We love it here and you will as well.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because it is the newest and complete resort on Kaanapali beach. Great units taking advantage of spectacular views, great furnishings and the largest lanai's of any of the resorts. 3 beautiful pools, 2 health clubs, great beach with excellent snorkeling. Dukes is a great addition serving excellent food, beautiful ambiance as well as servicing the pools with food and drink. BBQ's are located by pools allowing guest's to cook their own food and save some of your funds to enjoy the island. Enjoy, I know you will.
