Charming B&B-like House, City-Chic Guesthouse and heated pool close to Ocean Beach!!

This is a fantastic option for a family that has in-laws, nanny, kids with spouses, couples sharing, extended family, parents w/grown kids,etc. Enjoy a renovated and well decorated classic house and chic guesthouse!

This is a very charming cedar style home that is fully renovated 3 bedroom/2 bath and decorated in classic Hampton styles with dual zoned AC throughout. A chef's kitchen with granite and top of the line appliances, farmhouse dining table, chic sun porch w Persian rug & antiques, a window seat cocktail room, and inviting "Hampton style" living room. The bedrooms are appointed with luxury quality beds (4 queen, 1 TXL) and a sleeper sofa. The home is in excellent condition with hardwood floors throughout, new windows in sunroom (2018) and upstairs 2015), and quality appliances. The home is ~2100 sq ft.

Additionally, the architect designed and recently built guesthouse is a modern chic minimalist loft like space that has stone floors, his and hers Zen bathroom, modern maple custom kitchen, 42 inch flat screen and double French doors that open to the pool. A high quality full bed and a futon are in the open loft space. There is a dehumidifier/powerful AC, heater and fans. (Note, no indoor stove but there is an outdoor grill and an indoor 'burner' to cook basics on) The guesthouse is ~400 square feet. It is for adults only, but dogs are welcome here.

The custom designed pool is surrounded by a bluestone patio and is well appointed with outdoor areas for dining, lounging or reading.

The property is large, lush and filled with big stunning trees. There is a new outdoor grill. The park-like setting of the church next door and firehouse (rarely used) across the street lend to a feeling of being on vacation.

There is off street parking, wi-fi, lots of cable (all new HD wiring 2014), fans, and a shed to store bikes. There are TVs in the living room, and guesthouse. All bedrooms wired for TVs if you want TV in the other two bedrooms for a longer term rental.

Please note...the pool and poorhouse don't open until May.

The home is available for preview for a rental of one month or more. (Note: This property is well priced and owner managed so there is no managing agent or middle man to show property. Property sells out yearly.)

Why Laura chose Hampton Bays

It has a very special 'feel.' I loved this home the moment I walked into it. There is something special about old homes with history and quality mixed with modern touches that is so appealing. During a renovation we found signed sheetrock that dates the house to 1926 to one of the original "Good Ground" (name of town back then) families.

What makes this house unique

The house was actually used in a movie and has a great deal of charm. It is welcoming, relaxing and is the perfect setting for enjoying family dinners, cocktails after the beach, a lazy day at the pool, or curling up with a good book on the air conditioned sun porch. Friends and family all say they get their best night sleep here...with luxury beds and the feel of the calming trees surrounding the home.

The guesthouse seems to have cast a magic spell on couples on several occasions!! Several engagements!

The home just makes you want to enjoy what is good in life.

The property was amazing. The house was emmaculate. The location is perfect and the owner Laura was even better. Very helpful getting in and checking out. There wasn't one issue! Pool and pool house were so nice too. Nicer than we were thinking! If I go back to this part of long island I'd like to stay here again.

Love Hampton Bays and love this place. Laura is a very responsive and helpful host. The house is nicely finished with all the touches of a real home but the separate pool house is sets this vacation rental apart. Highly recommend!

Perfect for our family

The house was perfect for our family. The back house is a nice place to put in-laws or friends. Our father-in-law stayed back there and enjoyed his peace and the escape from the mayhem of our 3 small children. Note that there are only 2 bathrooms in the main house --one upstairs and one downstairs. The pool and deck were perfect for us and safely gated off, which worked well for young children. The pool heated up quickly and nicely. The owner was lovely and very helpful.

My guests and I had a wonderful time at this home. There is plenty of room for relaxing, dining and sleeping. Beautiful deck area with a clean, rippling pool and modern guest house. Laura is a very thorough, kind and courteous owner!

We got lucky

We booked a last-minute trip, got lucky and found this fabulous house. It had all the necessities we were looking for. Close proximity to the beach, to town, a lovely pool, guest house, etc.

And our host couldn't be more lovely.
