About Property Manager/Owner
David has traveled extensively. He particularly enjoys historically interesting destinations. He dabbles in symphonic music composition but recently has spent much of his time restoring 'The Studio' using techniques and materials that were available in 1904. The 'guts' of the house however, electrical, plumbing, heating, AC, bathrooms and kitchen are all either new or recently updated and almost all of the appliances, mattresses, bedding, towels and so forth are new. Welcome to this new listing!

Why Property Manager/Owner chose Old Toronto
It's the perfect location. A safe vibrant upscale neighbourhood, especially in the evening, with 157 shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. You can access more of Toronto's most interesting sites conveniently from here than the waterfront or financial district which tend to go quiet at night. Toronto is a very big city. Certain areas right in the core are less desirable, especial for families.
What makes this House unique
Most of the places I've stayed in I don't remember, only the very unique and special places stand out in my mind. This house really is extraordinary.

Excellent east end heritage home
We really enjoyed our stay at David’s restored home. David provided me with a very interesting history of the home and of course there is a book on the builders artwork many pieces of which hang in the home.
This is a great spot for people with an interest in history and who are not looking for modern facilities. The home is very comfortable and I could have happily spent the day in the home rather than taking my relatives around Toronto. However duty called. It is very convenient so you can just walk up to the Danforth and either get a bus, street car or subway within 5 to 10 minutes. Great grocery shopping nearby especially if you like Chinese or Greek food. Danforth for Greek and Gerrard Street for Chinese and Vietnamese.
Beautiful historic home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Toronto. Staying in this beautiful historical home was a highlight of our trip.
This is the best property we have rented. The owner is easily accessible. The area is wonderful with shops and restaurants and 2 parks within walking distance.
Memorable and Charming
Very pleased with the accommodations inside and out, and our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in such a delightful and charming home. When any of us come back to Toronto would definitely want to stay there again if the host would consider having us again. A big thank you to our gracious host for wonderful experience.
Delightful stay close to Danforth
Everything about this place is wonderful. David is an attentive host, and quick to respond to messages. He had street parking passes waiting for us when we arrived. The house itself is lovely and close to many shops on the Danforth while still being in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone!
Monique and her her family were excellent guests!
Small Family Reunion in Toronto
We loved being in the house - almost to the detriment of venturing out into the city. The proprietor, David, has a great love for his property and the legacy he has been able to preserve. We felt privileged to be part of this amazing place, and the Greektown community in which it resides.
157 shops and restaurants start 5 minutes walk away. Streetcar stop 5 minute walk. Subway 6 minutes. Bike rental 8 minutes and access to Toronto's largest network of dedicated bike paths. Close to Queen St. East, the coolest street in Toronto, what Queen West used to be.
