Peaceful old Homosassa w/ pool

This charming house sits right in the middle of Old Homosassa close enough to walk to the river, restaurants, and bars. Perfect place to go fishing, boating, ride bike, take walks, watch the manatees or just relaxing. There is 1 queen, 1 twin with a pull out, 1 pull out couch, and a futon. It's 15 min away from the 5 star World Wood golf club. Laundry is located in the house. The house has a nice screened in porch to sit, eat, relax in. Plenty of parking for boats, cars, trucks and golf carts. Homosassa is now a golf cart community. The house is 5 min walk to boat at MacRaes or to Old Mills Tavern. We are 2 blocks from the best breakfast place in Homosassa The Starting Gate. This is a place where time has seemed to have slowed down and the fun goes on forever. All you need to bring is your clothes and food. The house is load with ever thing you will need from laundry room with detergent to a dishwasher with the tablets , we have lots of condiments, water, coffee, a grill, a full functioning kitchen with all the essential.

Quiet, spacious getaway
Spacious rental, nicely furnished, including washer/dryer. Located in quiet "old Florida" area but close to activities, restaurants and shopping. Deck and pool area best suited for warmer months as the pool is not covered or heated. Neighborhood is in transition with adjoining properties being remodeled.

Very Relaxing
The owner was super nice, my card didn’t go through when I originally sent my request. It takes 16 hours to get approved it cancelled same day I wanted to travel, I was stressed reached out to the owner, he sent me a link to allow my payment to go through so I was able to still get his home for the weekend. Once we got there it was way better than the photos. It was clean, the owner came by and cleaned all the leafs out of the pool, I had unexpected family stay with me, the home was spacious so we had enough room and were able to enjoy family time together. It’s right down the street from great breakfast and good restaurants. Would stay again if I’m in the neighborhood

This property was great for our family (16 mths, 9, 11, 16 & 2 adults). The house was clean & orderly & located a short distance from the boat ramps. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay!

I bought this house to come and enjoy the relaxing river and laid back lifestyle of Homosassa. I from St. Petersburg, Florida just a little over a hour away, so it’s easy to just get in a car and come up for the weekends. It the perfect retreat

Why they chose this property

This house has a real Homosassa feel to it with a big backyard, shaded by big oaks. It a golf cart community, so you will see everybody just cruising the neighborhood. The house is with in a short walking distance to many bars and restaurants
