Ground floor 2 bed/2 bath condo on SMB at Harbour Heights next door to Seafire

Welcome to the British West Indies and our ground floor condo on SMB at Harbour Heights. Our 2 bed/2 bath condo is artfully decorated in the island theme and complete with all amenities for a perfect island-style vacation. The patio path leads to the beach, the pool and the gardens. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is an indoor dining, or use the outdoor patio dining area. The living area offers cable tv and an entertainment unit with a comfortable sofa and love seat. The BWI theme continues into the sleeping areas with beautiful matching wood bedroom sets. The master bedroom enjoys an en suite full bath with a new king bed and tv. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and an additional roll-away bed is available on request.

Harbour Heights is located midway on SMB and within walking distance to the Seafire Resort and Spa, beach bars and restaurants. Island attractions, dining, shopping and Georgetown are easily accessible by car or bus.

About Chris Wood

It all started with a warm tropical getaway to Harbour Heights in 1994 and a diving adventure. The diving was awesome, and so was the snorkeling, the fishing, the local dining, the Caymanian people and the beach at Harbour Heights!

We fell in love with this quaint place, a 'best kept secret on Seven Mile Beach.' We love it just as much today as we did on our first trip. The property and the condo are comfortable for families.

Why Chris Wood chose West Bay

Harbour Heights has a beautiful private sandy beach without the crowds. The sand is white and soft (no rocks, no sea grass) and the water is a perfect blue. There is plenty of shade on the beach under the palm thatched palapas or find a chaise in the sun or near the pool.

We enjoy the screened pool/game room for gathering with family and friends and the kids love the ping pong table.

The property is quiet and lovely, yet all the beach activities, rental equipment, beach bars/restaurants are only a short walk away.

What makes this condo unique

Location, location! We are on a perfect stretch of SMB, away from the crowds.

The Harbour Heights property is older and quaint. There is an established and well run rental and management office that is attentive to all guest requests. Our ground floor unit has no stairs. Condo No. 5 is not more than 50 steps to the beach, pool, garden and parking.

Being on the 'Lee' side of the island, prevailing easterly breezes keep the water flat as a lake. The water is as clear as spring water. You won't believe you are in the ocean!

Grand Cayman is accessible from many airports, but we enjoy direct flights from the NY metro area to GC in 3 1/2 hours. On arrival, we are on the beach in minutes!

Snorkeling right in front of our beach is always an adventure with daily visits by Turtles, Lobsters, Rays and all manor of colorful tropical fish.

Dive boats can pick you up right from our beach. Many of the islands best dive sites are located within 8 minutes (Big Tunnels, Round Top, Aquarium, and wreck of the Kittiwake). A two tank morning dive is a great way to start the day! Harbour Heights has a dunk tub and clothes lines for diver use.

The fishing is incredible. Inshore; Tarpon and Bonefish. Offshore; Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Blue Marlin. No need to travel hours to get to where the fish are only 1/4 mile offshore and you are in 1000 feet of water trolling for your dinner. You can bring the catch to a local restaurant to cook and serve it or bring it back to Harbour Heights for a feast.

Perfect R&R

What's not to love....beautiful, quiet beach away from the crowds; easy access to great restaurants, bars and shopping (short walks); friendly staff (property manager, cleaning crew, security guards). This is our second stay at Harbour Heights; our first at unit #5. Yes, the property is old with outdated furnishings and fixtures, but we don't care. The location and 'feel' of Harbour Heights is perfect for our R&R. We'll be back!

Excellent Location on SMB

We enjoyed the ground floor, being able to walk out the patio. The Ocean is about 100ft away. There are great trees on the beach to sit under and have a drink and look over the crystal clear water.

We visited many of the restaurants on the north end of the island and a couple near town. We drove to most of them. Nothing is more than 6 minutes away. House had everything you needed, the knives were sharp and there were plenty of utensils. Lacking in many rentals. We only had to run the dishwasher once during our 8 days.

Fun and convenient

My husband and 3 teenage boys loved the convenience and location of this place. Boys had room to kick soccer ball around and then jump right into the pool or ocean. The ocean was as good as any spot on the island. Restaurants and shopping were walking distance or a short drive. There were plenty of activities on the island to keep us busy. We didn't even get to do all we wanted. Office staff was so helpful and friendly. Oh, and the maid service was the best! We would go back in a heartbeat. Only downside is it could use a little updating.

great family vacation

this is our second visit to 7 mile beach, and first time at harbour heights. we found our accommodations to be comfortable, convenient, and geographically ideal. the management is very helpful and the grounds immaculate and well groomed. having a coffee on the ground floor patio every morning was a delight and the beach and pool were beautiful. our young children thoroughly enjoyed their time and want to go back next year. the weather was perfect, restaurants on the island top notch and the area very safe. highly recommend booking a vacation and staying at no 5.

WONDERFUL!

My family and I had a great vacation at this condo. It is very well appointed, right on 7 mile beach. It overlooks the pool which overlooks the beautiful beach. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, many within walking distance. The office staff could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend this listing.

Awesome Stay at No. 5*****

5* stars for Condo No. 5! Happy to be back to this great spot on 7 Mile Beach. It was 'home away from home' for our visit. The condo was very well decorated and so comfortable for our family. It had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the beach and the pool which are right there! Great wall dives with Cayman Marine Labs. The Turtle Farm was a fun day trip with the family. Would also recommend Stingray City boat trip to swim with the rays.

We have stayed at this condo in the past and enjoy the quaint and secure feeling at Harbour Heights. The guests and the owners we met on the beach were very friendly, and the ladies in the office and the staff were very helpful. We love it and we will be back!!!

Harbour Heights offers 400 feet of private beach directly on Seven Mile Beach. Find a palm-thatched palapa and enjoy the view and the sunny days. Walk next door to the new Kimpton Seafire Resort, the famous Calico Jacks Beach Bar/Restaurant, or across the streets to popular Dukes for dining or take out. Stingray City is a must for first time visitors. Boat charters will take your group or family to snorkel with the stingrays, truly a memorable event. Scuba diving is awesome in the Caymans, divemasters with boats will pick you up right on our beach. Fishing is high on our list and we have plenty of references for full and half day charters. The Turtle Farm is great for families, as is Swim with the Dolphins. We are centrally located on SMB, and convenient to the Shops, Restaurants, Georgetown and Camana Bay Mall.
