This newly renovated 1910 century home is located just minutes from the heart of downtown in one of the most charming and quiet areas of Calgary. Walk, ride or train to any of Calgary's attractions easily from this centrally located cottage. The two bedrooms are well appointed luxurious spaces that can comfortably sleep 4. The bathroom has heated floors and a rain shower. The kitchen is a chefs dream with stainless steel appliances, gas stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with ice maker for those happy hour drinks on the deck while watching the local commuters ride or walk home from work. Everything is new in this lovely home. The front yard is fenced and private with a great deck with BBQ for entertaining or relaxing. Groceries, liquor, and baking are available from either local/organic shops or large chains only a block away. The bright living/dining area has large SMART TV, stereo, bar and dining for 6-8 people.

Homeowners are long time Calgarians and proud Sunnyside residents who live next door to this rental property. We waited 20 years to purchase this home and turn it into the charming rental cottage we knew it could be. The transformation of this home has been very rewarding and we look forward to sharing this lovely home and our neighborhood with people from all over the world. We love to travel as well and have tried to make this a place we would love to rent when visiting another city. We hope you love it as much as we do.

This property is on the same block as our home and needed some loving. We have lived here for 20 years and think this is the best neighborhood in Calgary. This property is fully upgraded without loosing its old charm which was our goal.

Perfect accommodation in quiet neighbourhood where we have family.

Clean, quiet and cozy with all the amenities we needed. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and variety of shopping, as well as C train.

We will definitely book at the cottage again.

Charming Calgary

What an amazing stay at this charming and cozy getaway in Calgary. Cathy & Tim were incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. We fell in love with the central location in Sunnyside. Walking distance to downtown, parks, bike trails, McHugh Bluff off-leash dog park, shops, grocery stores, the Kensington neighborhood, and our new favorite coffee and brunch spot, Vendome Cafe. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, the bedrooms luxurious, the home well-maintained and quiet, and meticulously clean. I can't say enough about this spot!

Great little home in a beautiful neighbourhood.

My husband and I really enjoyed Cathy's wonderful home. Our dog loved it too, as the front yard was fenced in, and we could enjoy watching the people walking by. The neighbourhood is great; close to Kensington, Vendome, and downtown. Everything in the house worked as it should, and the bedding was amazing. The only tiny downside was that the basement is used for an office during the weekdays, and it was a bit noisy.

Cute place with a great location

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend in September. The house is beautifully updated & very cozy. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Cupboards were stocked with coffee & tea & pantry was well stocked as well.

The location is fantastic! The neighborhood is fairly busy but not noisy and we loved that we were within walking distance of the river trails and downtown.

The only negative is that th basement is used as the owners office and their comings and goings woke us up quite early on the first morning. Not an issue if you are an early riser, I suppose!

Overall we loved this little house and would definitely stay here again.
