Villa Escapar (formerly Jazz Villa) sits on a quiet hillside in Chocolate Hole on the west end of St. John. Our house faces south and west and provides beautiful 180-degree views that include St. Croix, Hart Bay, Chocolate Hole Harbor, St Thomas, romantic Caribbean sunsets, and the twinkling lights of distant islands at night. The oversized lot that surrounds Villa Escapar is filled with colorful and mature tropical landscaping and the villas overall atmosphere is peaceful and serene. This location also provides enough privacy for discreet clothing optional sun bathing and the south facing pool and deck get sun from 9 am to sunset. Although you feel quite removed from civilization, the delicious restaurants and lively bars of Cruz Bay are an easy 7-10 minute drive.

Villa Escapar is a home where the pool is the center of the design. The oversized pool measures 40 x 18-feet, which makes it one of the islands largest and it bakes in the sun and stays warm and welcoming throughout the year. The very functional and popular design of Villa Escapar accents space and privacy. The main entrance is on the upper level and you enter into the great room which houses the living, dining and kitchen areas. There is one bedroom on the main level and this bedroom is located on the left. The pool is on the south side of the great room and the huge surrounding sundeck runs the length of the house. Two sets of stairs (1 interior, 1 exterior) lead to the two master bedroom/baths and patios on the lower level.

There are three large, air conditioned bedrooms (3 kings), the master is on the main level, second bedroom is on the lower level accessible by interior staircase, and the third bedroom is located on the lower level accessible from the pool deck exterior staircase or by the driveway. All bedrooms open through screened sliding glass doors to the pool deck (upper) or private patios (lower). All bedrooms have private tiled baths.

As you enter this beautiful home, you walk in to the great room and your view is immediately drawn to the pool and the views beyond. Your comfortable and attractive living room furniture is a perfect spot to gather to spend time together! Watch TV, play some card games or do nothing at all! The vaulted ceilings, tiled floors and a beautiful stonewall add to the tropical environment, while over-sized sliding glass doors merge the tiled pool deck and interior living areas seamlessly. The living room has a flat screen TV with Cable TV and there is Mesh Wi-Fi internet throughout the Villa. The interior dining table, located just off the kitchen comfortably seats 6 people. If you feel like enjoying a meal outside, there is also a dining table on the pool deck that seats 6.
