With a view that immediately brings you peace, "A Shore Thing" is a delightfully themed, first floor, corner unit in the Salty Hammocks condominiums that allows you to enjoy every aspect of a home away from home. Sit on the deck and bask in the salt air, crashing waves, and ocean breeze.

The open living room and kitchen area provides a cozy atmosphere for family and friends to spend time together. A modern kitchen with all the essentials gives you just what you need to make your favorite home-cooked meals. There are two bedrooms (one with a Queen and one with two Twins), two baths, and comfortable living room with a sleeper sofa to give you enough space to accommodate 6 people. It has a nice sized deck to enjoy your view of the ocean including a spectacular sunrise.

Salty Hammocks is an oceanfront condominium building with private beach access, and a spacious oceanside pool.

While visiting "A Shore Thing" in Carolina Beach during the summer, make sure to visit the Boardwalk, it has fun for all ages, or take in a Movie at the Lake on Sunday evenings and no one should go home without trying Britt's Donuts, it's located on the Boardwalk. The NC Aquarium at nearby Kure Beach is open all year, the kids especially enjoy the touching pond so make your plans today to visit Carolina Beach.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Nice place!
Perfect location and view! The beds were a little form for my liking. A pillow top would be a nice addition. This is an older unit but it is nice, clean and in a great location. You can tell it’s age from the low shower heads and lack of overhead lighting especially in the kitchen. You have to stop by the realty company to pick up the keys and drop them off when you leave.

Great location
My husband has short term memory loss so this was a great location for him to make it to the condo and back from the beach on his own since it’s right off the walkway to the beach. Corner unit was awesome. Would like to see some updates inside.

Almost perfect...
The location was perfect with super easy access to the beach. We loved the large balcony overlooking the beach. Perfect for watching the sunrise! The condo has all the amenities of home. The kitchen was small, but we managed fine with two adults and one child. We were disappointed that we had to check in with the property manager instead of having immediate access to the unit when we arrived. The mattress on the bed in the primary bedroom was very hard and as a side-sleeper, it was almost painful for me. I also wasn't expecting the large area of mold growth in the primary bedroom closest. I snapped a pic and sent it to the property manager. Hopefully they will take care of it before the next guest arrives. Other than the mattress and mold, which are both easily remedied, the unit was perfect for us.
