Cozy Lakeside Cottage on Crystal Bay, Lake Minnetonka
A small community located within the Orono city limits to the north. Orono is home to the Minnetonka Center for the Arts as well as French Lake. The city is small and secluded with lots of natural features, with most of its amenities coming from Orono and Wayzata, such as their parks, hiking trails, shopping, and restaurants.
Please Note: The property is not a good choice if your group likes to party into the evening, since there are neighbors directly on both sides of the property.

I enjoy sharing the lake Minnetonka experience with others....
Kat Kitt, Realtor/RE/MAX ADVANTAGE PLUS purchased this cottage in 2008
I have lived on Lake Minnetonka for 28 years, first in Tonka Bay, and then nine years at the cottage, first as a renter, and then owner since 2008.
I have so many amazing memories and special times with family and friends over the years.
It has a special quality of being such a calm and relaxing environment, being close to the water, and level with the water.
The Cottage is charming in its own cute way, it's small open floor plan allows you to see the lake from almost every room. Because of the short distance to the water's edge, it feels like you are always engaging the lake.
The evenings are wonderful sitting by the water's edge with a small bonfire, watching the sparkle on the water from a big full moon.
The morning sunrise is spectacular from the end of the dock with a cup of coffee.
The Cottage has serenity and good energy...
Kat- your cozy cottage took us back to our life as newlyweds in Tonka Bay.
We enjoyed our time here and hope to return in the future.
Exterior of home paint peeling sets tone for place. Owner very nice responded to issues we had, toilet broke fixed in day,and smoke alarm need fixing. We needed to get toilet.paper. Bed was smaller than we anticipated . Location access was a challange .Garage height was a little over 6 feet .All these things distracted from the quality of our stay
Comfortable for 2 adults. An okay place if you're not to worried about frills. Interior is nice but small if you're a taller adult Needs lots of repairs and dock is dangerous with a slat missing especially if you had a child. Wall with sharp screws facing out is an issue also with children Overall we felt it was a relaxing trip but felt it is overpriced.
It has it's charm and is clean and well decorated. Bed is comfortable. But, there are obvious areas that should be repaired. The dock has pieces of boards missing. The side of the home is badly in need of paint. There is a vertical row of about eight screws (the sharp ends) protruding out of a wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Frankly, with a toddler running around, we were none too happy about these sharp points sticking out of the wall.
Great, cozy home. Myself and my sisters spent a weekend here in early Spring. The dock wasn't out yet, but that was fine, we spent time relaxing in the hot tub; so beautiful at sunset, such a pretty setting. The sofa has to be the most comfortable sofa that exists. Two of my sisters opted to sleep there as opposed to an actual bed because it is huge and ridiculously comfortable. The place is very well decorated and has a great feel. Very charming. Overall a very nice weekend: We had a fire, played games, cooked and even did some crafts. Couldn’t be more pleased! Also, I left some clothing in a drawer, and the renter was kind enough to locate and send them to me. I will definitely be back!
We loved the cabin. It was our home away from home. My wife squealed when we walked in. The contact by the owner and her care for the place was evident. We had a great stay. I will defiantly come back!
Kat was a great host and the house had everything we needed. It was clean and neat - looked just like the pictures
