About Taylor Brown

We are from San Francisco and recently moved to Sonoma County.

We appreciate comfortable and creative environments.

We love our summers at the river and you will too.

Taylor Brown purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Taylor Brown chose Guerneville

We have been visiting this area for years and love what Guerneville has to offer. With it's towering redwoods, neighboring vineyards, lazy river, and a short drive to the Pacific ocean, we could not have picked a better spot.

What makes this cabin unique

The neighborhood has a historical musical significance. From the roaring 1920's orchestra bands to the hip 1960's Grateful Dead, Rio Nido was the hub for great music on the Russian River.

Thoughtful touches, cool retreat

  • 4 of 5

This small but very comfortable cottage is quiet, private, and provides a shaded escape from the hot sun. The owner has thought about virtually everything guests might need and we did not have to run out and buy anything other than charcoal for the grill. The lack of a washer and dryer was inconvenient although I should have been more careful to find out about this before booking. The other thing we missed was a closet or wardrobe and dresser for clothes, although there is a rail in the bedroom to hang clothes. If these things are not important to you then this is a very nice place to stay.

Charming & Cozy under the Trees!

  • 5 of 5

Had an incredible 2 night stay at the Sequioa house over Memorial Day weekend. The place is spotless and pretty roomy for 2 people and 2 dogs. Beautiful backyard with a cozy hammock, as well as a big open front deck. Bed was comfy. Couch was a little small and uncomfortable, but only a minor inconvenience. All the appliances are clean and new. Linens were in great condition as well. Plenty of fans and space heaters for any given temperature. Super quiet! Would definitely stay here again. Thank You!

Amazing time to relax and unwind.

  • 5 of 5

We loved it! The cottage is quaint, charming, has character, and is very clean. My husband and I had a wonderful time just relaxing in the comfortable furniture next to the fire, listening to Tony Bennett on the Bose speakers, and reading novels. We also liked the antiques and vintage/modern mix of things around the house. We would like to come back when the weather is better however the three days of rain in the forest caused us to stay put and relax, read, and reflect. We loved seeing the the beautiful redwood trees all around the property. Great time!

Sublime

  • 5 of 5

Deafening silence. Birds at play. The wind in the trees. A cozy cabin with wonderful details.

The woods. Coffee on the back porch, wrapped in a blanket, enjoying the present moment.

Perfection.

Taylor ~ thank you for sharing your piece of peace in this world.

Until next time ~ Morgyne
