This 3 bedroom house, located on the Setenil’s famous Calle Jaboneria is the subject of thousands of tourist photographs each year. Built into the rocks under the overhanging cliffs the property offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the authentic lifestyle of those living in a traditional Spanish village.
Owned by our family for several generations the property,is a super base for discovering Setenil, Ronda, Sevilla, Marbella, Jerez, Cadiz and many other parts of rural Andalucia.
There is a private outside sun terrace to the front of the property with beautiful views of the overhanging cliffs, the gorge and the white washed village in front. Vehicles can be parked on the road outside the property.
On entering the property there is a lounge to the right and to the left the kitchen and dining room, with a guest WC.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
On the second floor there is a large open terrace with panoramic views and shelter from the overhanging cliffs.
It is a short walk to all of the key sights in Setenil de las Bodegas, including the famous Las Cuevas bars built under the overhanging rocks.
As you can see from the images the property is furnished in a traditional style to give our guests a true feeling of living in an old whitewashed village in Spain. The house is very clean with an interior style typical of most properties in the village.
What will be unique to most visitors is the opportunity to live in a ‘cave house’. The property is built into the rocks and has a charming and unique feel to it. Of course it also benefits from the cooling rocks in the summer months and the warming effect in the winter months.
