Christine and I spent the week of 9-5 to 9-12 at the cabin. What a wonderful and relaxing time. Cabin had everything we could need, the pond was great for fishing and our Leonberger loved chasing the fish. Caught a few Bluegills and saw a few trout. The hot tub was great and the cabin was in great shape and very clean. Spent a lot of time rocking on the deck out back and taking strolls through the neighborhood, very private and well kept. A/C worked great and kitchen was well supplied with utensils and cookware. Shower was great, I’m a big guy and the size of the shower was appreciated. Loved the bed and bedroom, very comfortable and spacious.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week.
Tim, Christine, and Titan...
Cabin was just as described.
We had a great time ...Cabin was clean and everything worked. We would go back again next time we would love to stay in the winter months cabin would be cozy
Thank you for your 5 star review. Yes, the cabin is great in the winter, especially with the fireplace in the master bedroom! Please come back!
What a peaceful, unique cabin by the stream!
My husband, 2 dogs and I stayed in the cabin for 5 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the location, especially the stream out the back door and the pond on the other side of the cabin with fish, turtles and bull frogs. The Cabin was perfect for us and close enough to town for hiking and shopping without being right in the middle of town! We hope to stay again.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We hope you come back too!
Always love staying at Lindsey Mill
This is the seventh or eight time we've stayed at Lindsey Mill over the years. It's a great place to relax and rejuvenate our minds. The cabin is just a short drive from the activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but there are restaurants and a market right across the street if you want to stay in. The Cobbly Nob Café will deliver pizzas and sandwiches to the cabin during the summer months, although we didn't take advantage of that. Can't wait to get back.
Such a lovely place to rest and relax! Enjoyed every minute and hated to leave! Would definitely love to go back! Beautiful area and everyone is so friendly. so much to see , check out Douglas Dam and Lake area! We had problem with hot tub and it was taken care of as soon as we called.
Thank you for your 5 star review!
Cabin itself was nice , location was what it was .
From outside and inside the cabin was nice, too nice to overlook safely though. After settling in but not fully unpacked. We tried to enjoy the Beauty of where we were . But found the Hot tub to be a cold one, for recently cleaned it was Only 80 degrees. By bedtime it was almost 92 still chilly . But then life changes, my wife while stepping into shower . Slipped and fell on her side, landing on an 8-12” by five inches across Seperation point for huge shower . What she made me feel for the first 2 Days was anger/and sadness . I wanted her to go to hospital. But she said she was just sore , so what we thought was nothing, grew into alot 😔 my wife has 4 broken ribs and multiple fractures 😥 she endured the pain because if I knew how bad she was actually hurt . I would have called 911 . But even at first the hospital in Sevierville said just a few fractures. But at home a week later it was 4 Ribs. Now we tried to watch t.v. But it was messed up from last guest, management said. We did watch Netflix down stairs before fall as it was the Only thing that worked for t.v’s , plus in the end after contacting management about T.V. And my wife’s fall . The lady came for a second time,😬 the hot tub . She was quick, but hated bothering her the 2nd time. But in my message to her she came and quickly fixed t.v’s but never once asked my wife how she was doing while there . She showed absolutely no concern for her 🤔 Only after management left , did we read the last guests remarks. They were advised to get a shower mat as they knew then that the shower was slick . 4 months earlier 🤔 I took pictures of everything, the shower was wet when she fell from possible cleaning earlier 🤔 If in the fall my wife had not put her arm out . No rail ! She would have fallen and broken her neck on that step over . So after realizing you knew it needed one , you still didn’t ! Thank you , I won’t be back !!! Don’t advertise a stocked trout pond when it’s nothing more than a shallow trough with bluegills and bullfrogs ! And day one no Hot tub 🤔 The Only positive to this trip was my mom who Only lives over the Mountains. Gave part of her place to me . My wife got to pay 2 Hospital’s as she went for a second opinion after getting home. That’s where we found out she had been worse . So I hope the shower is made safer ! The Hot tub,t.v’s and shower sucked . Y’all should have put more thought into everything !!! Good luck to everyone else , urgent cares are all closed after dark 😥
Glad you liked the cabin, but found it necessary to give it only a 1 star review? The cabin is not handicap equipped, hence grab bars are not required in the shower. Your wife's falling was an unfortunate mishap and as far as I know, the first ever experienced in the 18 years that I have owned the property. I agree that it sounds like you should have called 911 immediately. My mgr Tammi quickly responded to all of your complaints and came out to adjust the remotes for you. They can be confusing. I am sorry you did not like her demeanor. Most find her very helpful and gracious. The hot tub was emptied and filled the day you arrived since a guest had just checked out. It does take a number of hours to get to temperature. Glad you were able to use it the following day.
Located 15 minutes to downtown, 5 miles to the arts and crafts community and 4 miles to the Greenbrier entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
