Look out over the lake and enjoy your dinner as you watch the boats come into the marina. We also have the unique and amazing option of a boat slip for rent right outside your unit, extra fees apply.We have two units to pick from. Unit 212 or 217

The reason this unit is so great is the location to the beach, the pools and the gym. 1 flight of stairs directly to the pier, the proximity to the indoor pool and gym is just down the hall, no elevator!! And the outdoor pool and tennis courts are only one flight of stairs up from your suite, you can take the elevator, but honestly with kids, who wants to wait! I own 217 and 212 and they ca be booked together for large groups. Each has the identical amenities. I also have 2 units across the street in Waterscapes if those are booked. We are close to Tugboat Bay, this beach area is

located at the heart of the city, Waterfront Park has unbeatable views of Lake Okanagan, sandy beaches, beautifully landscaped gardens, washroom facilities, paddle boat rentals and boat launches. Observe Kelowna's diverse wildlife that inhabit the Rotary Marshes located at the north end of the beach. Take a stroll, or enjoy the delicious restaurants, located along the boardwalk which follows the waters edge all the way to City Park. If you're lucky, you may even catch some local talent on the Island performance stage

The single parking spot for your car is on the same level as the suite, so there is no need for elevator waits. Your bike can stay right by your car and then you can ride right out the ramp to the pathways or bird sanctuary.

The great thing about this area of town is that you can ride or walk everywhere you need to go, including restaurants and shops. We love coming here to relax and enjoy the warm evenings walking to get an ice cream or biking over the the grocery store. THe beach is really quiet usually, unless there is a festival on, in which case you are closer to the action and free entertainment.

We have also been impressed with the quality of people in this building. A good mix of families and couples either renting or living here permanently. This is not a loud rowdy building...there are lots of kids at the pool, and really nice people to meet as you spend your week here.

We always look forward to our return there in the summer, from the hectic life of Calgary. We think you will enjoy your stay here too!

About Shauna Rowell and Robyn Ring

We are a family of 3, My husband and I and our 9 year old son. We have a boat like we like to spend time on in the summer, and we rides our bikes everywhere in town so we dont have to park or take taxis. We can ride for groceries, to restaurants, the park...where ever we want to go and we get our exercise too. We love to watch the sail boats from the deck while we barbecue. There's never mosquitoes out so we can eat out there all summer long! This picture is of our son as we ride through the lagoon to exit out to the lake through the lock system. It feels like a party in here as people wait aroudn with tunes playing, and sun shining. Nothing like a summer day!

Why Shauna Rowell and Robyn Ring chose North End

HI there. We bought this property with the hopes of spending some quality time together as a family. It has exceeded our hopes of a wonderful family resort that we look forward to spending time at every year! We love the boat moorage, we love the event that happen right outside our unit on the public beach. Free entertainment from festivals, to Canada Day celebrations. We spend time with family, and thus have another unit for when they visit. Everyone loves this location because of its proximity to art galleries, clubs, shops, parks. We all get to do what we like, and can walk to each others location and meet up.

What makes this condo unique

We are close to golfing, wineries, movies, shopping, the beach, and lots of good restaurants! Come and share the fun! We play tennis in the morning, hang out by the pool, or go to the beach. Go boating, rent jet skiis, paddle boat through out the lagoon. Theres a new adventure everyday. We have a boat slip for rent right outside the unit, a very unique quality for downtown Kelowna. Great convenience and fun. Boats can also be rented from local companies during your stay too.

Beach Beach Beach, can I say more, indoor pool steps away, outdoor pool right up the steps on the top Sundeck, Bar-b-que on private deck with patio set, 4 appliances, fully equipped kitchen, hard wood floors, stylishly decorated, new modern appliances, linens, dishes etc, 2 Queen beds in each bedroom, and two twins in the 3rd bedroom. 212 has a double single bunk in the third bedroom only

Nice, convenient

The condo itself was well stocked, comfortable, roomy with great amenities like pools, excerxise room. Beds were good. The balcony overlooked the little man made lagoon and then out to the lake - so lots going on, great views. The balcony itself is a little awkward as it's long and narrow so only 3 people can sit at the table, but there is another table out there that other people can sit at so they've made the best use of a wide narrow balcony. If you are bringing your boat, owners have a slip right outside the door which is wonderful. Note, you come and go through a boat lock that is managed by the hotel so sometimes 10-15 minutes to get in and out but really fun seeing the lock work. Even though the condo seems steps from the lake/beach, if you want to walk down to the beach, you have to walk around the path because of the lagoon (5-10 mins) it's a beautiful walk but just note that you can't just go out your door to the beach. Our checkin experience was unfortunately not good as the property manager left us waiting for over an hour with all of our luggage at the front door (with repeated calls and texts from us where she didn't answer her cell and then was rude to us when she finally came to meet us). That was an unfortunate start, she got more helpful later (ie she didn't have a clean planned for after week one, no dish towels or garbage bags left in unit, no boat slip access card), but she did fix these things. Overall it was a really nice stay, the condo was great, the owner was excellent to deal with during booking but a few things not as professional and smooth as I had hoped. Also, lock up your boat, we had everything stolen from ours (wake boards etc) but our stupidity as it felt so private but is actually accessible by public.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We have changed managers now and have had amazing responses to her service. Much improved from last year. We have upgraded quite a few of the furniture items in the home so we hope you come to check it out. we will always supply dish towels, sorry to say that was over looked by the manager. We have a second unit the same as this one down the hall if you ever come back with a bigger group!

great stay

The location is perfect and the condo is lovely and it easily fits 8 people. The pools and gym are really nice and convenient. The only thing to remember is that there is no: dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap or paper towels. It would have been good to know that prior to coming.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. I mentioned earlier that we have a new manager as of Sept 1 2017 so those soap/paper items will now always be there when you arrive to get you through a few days. A rule of thumb is don't bring them for 3 days but a week or longer you will most likely need to pick some up on one of your outings. Safeway is only 10 min away! We also have another unit just like this one down the hall if you ever want to bring out a bigger group!

A group of 8 of us stayed at this great condo. It was big enough to accommodate all of us (with 2 on the pull out couch).

The view from the balcony was incredible.

Fantastic unit with a great view!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had plenty of room and was very clean with all amenities promised. The view from the patio was amazing. We had 4 adults and 2 kids in the unit and never felt cramped for space. The owners were also very responsive to any questions we had, which was greatly appreciated.

The resort was just what we were looking for this summer !

Super accomodations for the 6 of us. Grandparents, mom and dad and two kids. Kids loved the lagoon and paddle boats, grandma loved sitting on the patio watching the world go by and my wife and I loved the fact everyone was occupied and happy. Thanks again.

This is a rental by owner website, all of these rentals are owned and managed by we the owners, there is no front desk reception, 100.00 cancellations fee. The Kelowna manager is in town but not on-site. We make every attempt at satisfying all guest needs but understand we are not a hotel with on site repair, cleaning or reception staff. Less then 1 week stays are subject to a cleaning fee of 150.00. For issues with the suite or checking in Call Karen, our manager.
