Relaxing & Beautiful Time at Anne & Max’s
Thanks for sharing your lovely country spread with an Oklahoma rancher! The location was just to my liking - country air, horses & friendly dogs! The apartment was very nice, clean & had all the amenities. My grandchildren loved the peacocks & the friendly horses.
Thanks Anne & Max!
Relaxing and peaceful
This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!
Great location, wonderful apartment, excellent hosts
The apartment is conveniently located, outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Ocala, but close enough to access food, restaurants, shopping and activities. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and the hosts are very welcoming. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in horse country, this is the place for you.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts are very nice and a pleasure to speak with. We choose this place because we were in the area mountain biking, it’s between Santos and San Felasco Hammok which worked out well. 20min to Santos and 50min to SFH. Well worth the drive to stay at this peaceful location. And there are dogs and horses which was great.
Horse country hideaway
Of all the places we’ve used as lodging while we travel throughout the South, Tree Tales Farm ranks near the top for our favorite. The house was extremely comfortable, allowing space for both TV viewing and quiet reading in another room. The kitchen was comforable to work in and was supplied with adequate tools, pans and dishes. The outdoor patio with table and chairs beneath huge live oaks provided a terrific vantage point to not only watch the horses, the peacocks, and caged chickens (and crowing rooster), but also the perfect spot to watch the sun set in St he western sky. A real winner.
On the Gainesville Rd (US 441) only 30 min to Univ. of Florida campus sports, culture and academics. Or go West 17 miles to HITS horse showgrounds, or South 25 miles to Florida Horse Park and Greenway. Also nearby are Ocala Natinal Forest and Paynes Pririe Nature Preserve, Micanopy antique village, 15 min to downtown Ocala.
