The Apple House is located in the Arbolada, approximately 10 minutes walk from The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa or a 15 minute stroll to the Arcade in the center of town. The fully fenced property offers an opportunity to relax in a private and serene setting amongst the towering majestic oaks. It is designed for family fun and has been the location for many a family reunion. The sleeping arrangements offer a great deal of flexibility with beds in 5 rooms. We hope that you will get as much pleasure from The Apple House as we have.

The entire property has 4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, and sleeps a maximum of 8 adults. Unfortunately no pets allowed. No Smoking. House and property are not child proof but we do welcome children.

PLEASE NOTE that we cannot host weddings on our property.

Main House 2500 Sq ft:

Bedroom 1 - King Bed with en suite bathroom with Shower.

Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed with adjacent bathroom with shower over tub.

Bedroom 3 - Large 'Family style' room. 2 Full size beds, separate changing room, adjacent bathroom with shower and laundry facility. 60 inch wall-mounted TV.

Guest Cottage Bedroom: 1 Queen Bed, bathroom with shower. Separate sitting room.

Main House features a Gourmet Country Style Kitchen with breakfast nook. Large Farmhouse sink, 6 burner Viking Range and Sub Zero Refrigerator. Outdoor propane BBQ. Enjoy your meals on the covered Front Porch or on the back patio overlooking the large Swimming Pool with the 'pink moment' backdrop of the Topa Topa Mountains.

Garage has been converted into a 'Pub Style' Family Games Room. Featuring an 8 foot Pool Table, Table Football and Dart Board.

The Grounds: Beautifully landscaped 2 acres. Enjoy our family orchard boasting espaliered Apples and Figs, many varieties of citrus, grape vines and countless other fruit trees! Every part of the property has something to offer. Enjoy your first cup of coffee with the morning sun next to a bubbling fountain. Nap in the hammock under the trees or spend the day sunning and swimming around the pool.

Car: necessary

The Apple House is so wonderful you may never want to leave. If you do feel the urge to explore wider afield, many of our guests take day trips to Los Angeles for the various theme parks like Disneyland, Universal Studios or Magic Mountain. Or take a short drive to Santa Barbara for all it has to offer: Santa Barbara Zoo, World Class Dining, Outstanding Beaches. My personal favorite is the beach at Santa Claus Lane in Carpenteria. This beach offers surfing lessons and many little boutiques and restaurants as well - worth the 20 minute drive. A must for first time Ojai visitors is the 2 mile family friendly hike along the Ridge Trail located at the tip of Signal Street. Enjoy a cool morning walk along this trail. Bring your camera for the breathtaking views of the Ojai Valley. Then finish your walk and stop in town for coffee and a stroll down down the famous Arcade or a rest in Libbey Park. If you're in town on Sunday morning do not miss the Farmers Market. Search out BD's vegetable stand. His farm is located a stones throw from The Apple House. For biking enthusiasts there are two local bike stores where you can rent bikes and accessories. A paved bike path leads you all the way to Ventura or if mountain biking is your thing ask the bike store to recommend a suitable trail. We do have some bikes on property.
