Only minutes from Casinos, Front Sight, the Speedway, Golf, Wineries and the Desert this beautifully remodeled 4000 sq. ft. Executive Retreat is on the golf course, with 1/2 acre of beautifully landscaped trees and grass, a Spa, pool and Bar-B-Q area provides everything you need to relax and have fun after a full day playing in the Desert Sun.
The four beautifully decorated bedrooms provide sleeping accommodations for 8 to 10 people. Each bedroom has a 37' flat screen TV with Direct TV and the complete compliment of movie channels (HBO, MAX, STARZ, etc) along with a Blu-Ray Disc player. The Master Bedroom's California King Bed has a NightAir mattress completely adjustable on both sides to provide the support most comfortable to both sleepers. The spacious Master Bath has a large Jacuzzi tub and separate dual head shower as well as his and her sinks.
The second bedroom is furbished in Victorian style furniture and a queen sized bed. There is a separate half bath right next to the bedroom.
The third bedroom is upstairs, and furnished with two twin XL beds which can be arranged as either two single beds or placed together to make a single king sized bed. Simply tell us how you would like it arranged, and it will be ready on your arrival.
The forth bedroom, also upstairs, has a beautiful Eastern King Bed and is next to the exercise room.
Between the 3rd and 4th bedrooms is a large full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, shower, and his and her sinks on opposite sides of the bathroom
What Executive Retreat would be complete without a library? Just off the entry way, the library provides complete computer support from the beautiful oak roll top desk. The house provides wireless internet support in the main living area, which can be accessed from the desktop computer system there for your use. The computer offers Microsoft's office suite so that you can stay in touch with your work, even while you enjoy the desert fun. The library, also, includes a wireless color laser printer, fax, copier (Brother MFC-9325CW) which you can access wirelessly either from the provided computer or from your own laptop if you prefer. With two large bookshelves and hundreds of books to choose from, there is plenty of literary adventure awaiting your stay.
The kitchen provides everything a chef would need to entertain. Simply add your own food and condiments and you’re ready to feed a large group or microwave a meal for one. The kitchen is furnished with a large oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, side by side refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom and an ice maker to keep up with your pool side refreshments. The dining room provides seating for 8 to 10 while the kitchen table is set for four.
No matter what your desert play includes, there is always the chance that you'll get dirty. The utility room provides large, front loading, side by side, washer and dryer. If you need to wash more than your cloths, there is a large utility sink there for your use. It can be a long walk from the upstairs bedrooms to the utility room, so we've provided a laundry chute in bedroom #4 which drops directly into the utility room!
After a hard day playing, you'll want to relax with the whole crew in the family room. There’s a wet bar area and 4 large stools to accommodate those desiring an adult beverage. For those wishing to watch a little TV, they will enjoy the large wrap around couch with reclining seats! The huge 60” flat screen TV will make your favorite shows even more enjoyable to watch. Want to play your own movies, the entertainment center includes a Blu-Ray disc player as well as the Direct TV receiver with the full complement of movie channels.
For those who wish to keep up with their workout routine, there is an exercise room. We've provided a stationary exercise bike and a compact elliptical machine for your workout needs. While no one wants to look at the wall while their working out, we've provided a 37” flat screen with Direct TV receiver to entertain you while you exercise! If you find at the end of the day you're a little sore from enjoying the desert fun or you've overdone the exercise equipment, there's a massage chair here to work out the kinks in your back.
No Retreat would be complete without a game room. The game room provides a regulation sized pool table and a bar area for those interested in a beverage while they play. The beautiful leather couch and love seat give plenty of room to sit and watch the projection TV system, which like all of the other TVs is connected to Direct TV!
The pièce de résistance of the house is the back yard. Enjoy the heated spa to relax those sore muscles, or jump into the full sized pool to cool off after a hot day in the desert sun! Looking for a quiet area to relax? Try the bubbling stream and pond at the back of the property. Sit under the cool shade of the large trees and listen to the water while you read a book. Or, if you’re ready to party at the BBQ grill, cook up some burgers and dogs while the crew chats with you from the bar stools on the far side of the grill. The Bar-B-Q area provides a small refrigerator, a sink and a complete compliment of utensils to make your grilling tasks a breeze. After dinner, sit on the couch and chairs under the porch and enjoy the gas fireplace while you chat with family and friends.
For our Front Sight Guests or those guests with valuables that they would prefer to be securely locked up while they are away, we provide a large, 5 ft. (24 gun) safe to store your valuables. The safe is securely bolted to the floor and is concealed in one of the downstairs closets.
If you need room to clean your weapons or gear after a hard day at the range, we've provided a work bench in the garage area to disassemble and clean your things. Have a problem with one of your guns, or if one of your weapons malfunctions at the range, our manager is a certified and active duty Police Gun Smith. Mike offers prompt service to our guests who need his talents. Don't hesitate to talk to Mike before you come if you need a modification or repair to your rifle or hand gun, the Front Sight instructors agree, Mike Hagen is one of the finest Gun Smiths in Nevada!

If your interests are a little less adventurous than firearms training or race car driving, right outside your back door is Lake View Executive Golf Course . Voted the best 'Executive or Midsize Course in Nevada', with lush fairways, fast greens, five par 4's and thirteen par 3's it's a great challenge. This is a super course for those who like to walk and enjoy nature. The mountain views are spectacular and the course is very playable for all golfers.
For the wine connoisseurs and those just interested in good wine there is Pahrump Valley Winery & Symphony's Restaurant. The locals figured someone was either crazy or brilliant, creating a winery here in the Mojave Desert. Their verdict: brilliant. But you can decide for yourself. First, sip the award-winning wines in the tasting room and take a guided tour. Pahrump Valley Winery is Nevada's oldest winery, where you can take a winery tour, enjoy a wine tasting and have lunch or dinner in the vineyard side restaurant, Symphony's. The 'upscale casual' restaurant Symphony's, is named after it's gold medal winning wine of the same name. While a white linen restaurant, they want you to dine lavishly yet dress comfortably. Symphony's is one of our favorite restaurants in Pahrump!
Play cards? The poker room at the Pahrump Nugget offers both cash games and tournaments on a regular basis. Not a card player? The Pahrump Nugget and the Saddleback West Casino offer all the gaming thrills and dining experience you would expect from one of the large Las Vegas casinos!
Are the Outdoors more your speed? Scenic views, exceptional weather, and epic adventure trails make Pahrump a thrill-seeker’s dream come true. This desert hideaway is a popular travel destination for hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers and off roaders of all skill levels. We’ve included a list of some our favorite trails for mountain biking, ATVs and Jeeps. There are so many trails in and nearby Pahrump; we can’t possibly include them all.
Carpenter Canyon Road, Wallace Canyon Road, and Wheeler Wash are great trails for beginners and intermediate mountain bikers, ATVs and Jeeps. There are also challenging double-track trails between the canyons for ATVs.
Jeeps love Carpenter Canyon! Confident drivers will enjoy this challenging double-track through the trees with awesome break out views of the Pahrump Valley below and peaks of the Spring Mountains above. Hiking trails start at Carpenter Canyon unimproved campgrounds, accessible by 4x4 or two-wheel drive, with good ground clearance. A few miles of easy hiking gradually turns extreme with a steep ascent to Mt. Charleston.
Wallace Canyon offers an easy foot path and plenty of parking. Mt. Charleston can also be reached from Wallace.
Wheeler Wells and the historic charcoal kilns are accessible by most 2WD vehicles, even pulling small travel trailers. Hiking trailheads are at both sites. Wheeler Pass Indian Springs on US 95 is a favorite of experienced 4x4 drivers.
Enjoy the cool mountain breezes, fresh air and all-around scenic beauty of Mt. Charleston. A quick 35-minute drive northwest of Las Vegas, Mt. Charleston features more than 50 miles of marked trails over the rocky terrain. From paved and dirt trails to strenuous climbs, hikers and mountain bikers of all ages and abilities will love the beautiful views and cooler temperatures at the top of the mountain. Mt. Charleston is also a great area for skiing, picnicking and camping.
The Elk Meadows Trails is a network of narrow, challenging paths that are sure to entertain experienced bikers. Be sure to share the path with deer and elk who sometimes wander along these trails.
Drive the 13-mile loop around the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and enjoy sightseeing, vistas and overlooks from the comfort of your seat. Or if the thrill of adventure is more your speed, explore nearly 20 different day hikes through the wilderness and natural springs.
In the space provided, I can't possibly provide all the features and advantages of a stay here in Pahrump. However, I hope I've given you a taste of the fun available here for all those adventurous enough to give it a try!
