3 bedroom beachfront home located on 3.5 acres of land

A beautiful beach front home located on 3.5 acres of land. Surrounded by trees, and a stunning view of the Northumberland Strait from the 12 ft. back deck. A short stroll out the back door will take you down to the beach where you can swim, whale watch or enjoy some local lobster. The lot is very private and surrounded by trees.

The cottage boasts the following:

- Large living room with wood fireplace, large window and lots of seating areas

- Large kitchen (includes most things you would find at home including baking sheets, electric kettle, microwave, cofee maker etc...)

- Local Birch hardwood flooring throughout main level

- Master bedroom with Queen bed

- Upstairs bedroom with One set of bunk beds, a single bed and a crib (beds are all full length for adults)

- Downstairs bedroom with one set of bunk beds and a twin twin bed

- Walk out basement has a large family room, includes treadmill, wood stove, and ping pong table.

- Large covered deck off of living room. Looks out at Northumberland Strait. Complete with cedar furniture, picnic table and propane BBQ.

- Lots of storage

- Washer/dryer, drying rack and outdoor clothes line

Doctors Brook is on the Sunshine Trail about 2 hours from the Halifax international airport. The area is home to many fishermen and boasts some if the most beautiful sunsets in NS.

The town of Antigonish is located ~20 minute drive and has everything from groceries to restaurants, theater and hospital.

The lobster fishing season runs from May 1 to end of June and is an excellent time to visit for a fresh catch.

In July/August there is a good chance you will see the whales and seals from your back deck.

We are available to accommodate short and long term rentals. Long term rentals outside of summer season arle available at discounted rates.

During summer high season Monday-Sunday rentals are preferred.

Monday-Sunday rentals are preferred and will receive priority. A 50% deposit is due at time of confirmation.
A $500 security deposit will be required at the time of booking. Note that $150 cleaning fee will be deducted from damage deposit if basic cleaning checklist is not completed (i.e. dishes washed, garbage sorted, linens beside washing machine)
