About Beth Carson Ellington

I've been in the vacation rental industry since before HomeAway was a company. I have written a book, an online program for my publisher, International Living, and speak frequently at conferences for owners.

I LOVE vacation rentals. Who would stay in a box when you can stay in a home?

Beth Carson Ellington purchased this condo in 2017

Why Beth Carson Ellington chose Hendersonville

Willow captured my heart- the proximity to downtown Hendersonville, the mature trees, the simplicity of the house, and the deck my husband built. We designed and built a spa bath- the perfect retreat for 1 or for 2.

What makes this condo unique

Very few places in Hendersonville can claim that they are walking distance. We truly are. It's hilly, so you may want to drive, but we walk into Hendersonville a few times a week.

Fantastic weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I truly enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. The space is so comfortable and inviting with everything you could possibly need for a super vacation. The pics in the listing do not do this house justice! Especially the spa like bath, it is one of the most beautiful bathrooms -you have to see it to believe it. We will absolutely be back to Hendersonville and can’t wait to use this house again when I travel to this area.

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I planned a vacation to ashville for my parents to celebrate my mothers birthday. My parents absolutely loved it. Said the house was beautiful, roomy, and decorated wonderfully. The best part was the location by heinsville, plus they weren't too

Far from Ashville. They actually liked the town heisville better then Ashville. Highly recommend staying here. She ever offered to

Buy my mom a cake and she respondes quickly to questions. Overal an excellent experience.

This was a needed getaway location

  • 5 of 5

The weekend we stayed, was the weekend before I was to be laid off. My wife and I needed to get away from a wonderful. loving family whom we hadn't told. We truly needed a family-like home to rest, cry, and regroup. This home was like my Aunt saying, "Honey, why don't you all stay here for a while and sort things out." This inviting, clean, and comfortable little home in a quiet Hendersonville neighborhood was just that for us. It's situated in an older part of the city, and at first glance it's not the Ritz Carlton. but frankly, my wife and I wanted peace and small town comfort without the energy-draining pretenses to keep up with. The keys to selecting this house or any other place to stay is what's important to you for this particular trip. Upon entering, the rooms are small yet comfortable and clean. Appliances, fixtures, wifi, and satellite TV all worked well. This seems like a small issue, but the owners did an excellent job attending to details of making the things in an older home work. The refrigerator was large and clean, and though small, the kitchen was well stocked pots, pans, coffee cups, dishes, and silverware. Though we used champagne glasses for wine glasses (something to add) we had a nice candlelight dinner for two on the kitchen table. The one full bath is small, but everything works and is decorated in the same inviting way as the whole house. The shower had a stylish shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser within a full-sized bathtub shower combination. As for the bedrooms, the decor is simple, yet colorful, coordinated, and most of all clean. The master is king-sized and comfortable because of the great mattress and extra nice pillows, and has its own satellite-ready flat screen TV. There is also this cushy soft love-seat and space for clothing if staying a while. Outside, there is a tended small yard on a two lane road with some traffic but it was not distracting inside. The front and backyards were small but well kept. Sidewalks allowed us to walk to an older side streets of downtown that weren't particularly attractive, however, locals described a nationally known fifties diner-like restaurant or "burger-joint" called Hotdog World that is well worth visiting. But a two block sideway walk up from there is the south end of downtown Hendersonville. Downtown Hendersonville is the classic yet revamped Southern Main Street USA. One very nice surprise was Flat Rock Playhouse's downtown theatre location which i

Can walk to everywhere!

  • 5 of 5

We were pleasantly surprised at how well decorated and nice the house was. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds were delightful and they spared no expense on the nice linens and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was just the right size for two couples and there was so much value for the dollar compared to a local hotel. Thank you! We will be back.
