About this property

Beautiful Seattle Home in Quiet Magnolia

A large house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Located in the Magnolia subdivision, it's just minutes to bustling downtown sights including the Seattle Center, Space Needle, Pike's Market, Capitol Hill, Pioneer Square, various concert venues, and the stadiums for Mariners and Seahawks games. It's also just across the bridge to Ballard, filled with local microbreweries and endless dining options. The driveway holds 2 cars, and there's ample free parking in the street.

The house is fully equipped with cable TV including movie and music channels, a large open living space with air conditioning and a pool table, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, bidet toilets, a backyard deck with natural gas BBQ, a great view from the upstairs balcony, and is stocked with Seattle's Best coffee to get your day started.

Guests have access to the entire house and will gain access via a touch-pad lock on the front door, so there's no keys to transfer or lose. The master bedroom closet, walk-in pantry, and garage are closed off to store personal items.
In general, you won't see me. But I will typically stay in the local Seattle area when renting the house, so I'm just a phone call away if you need anything.

For a quiet break from the action, check out the Magnolia Village on McGraw Street. It's our little "downtown" in Magnolia with a few shops and restaurants. For a similar feel, but a bit larger, check out the top of Queen Anne.

A bus stop is just down the street, and Uber drivers are always available within 5 minutes.

Christmas 2023
House was absolutely perfect!! Our family of 10 were in total comfort. Large open concept of kitchen and family room. House was spotless and the owner Doug was incredibly accommodating (letting us arrive early since we were all flying in from Southern California). Would highly recommend to families or several couples wanting a getaway to a fun city! House is a very short drive to downtown (10 minutes tops). And downtown Magnolia is quaint and charming.

Highly Recommend!
This spacious home is immaculate, beautifully maintained and well equipped with every amenity you might need. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with our adult daughters and their husbands. The large well appointed kitchen, large family room with fireplace and dining room table for ten made it easy to cook and spend time together. Doug is kind and very responsive. Upon arrival we found a baby gift for our expectant daughter and some local chocolates. You couldn't ask for a better host!

Fantastic property for large family
This was a wonderful home base for our large family for our son’s wedding held on Lake Union. Douglas left extra amenities that were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
