1 BR self contained apartment with private entrance across from a beautiful park

Clean, comfortable 1 bedroom garden level suite with private entrance, patio, and garden. Close to everything Vancouver has to offer - shopping, restaurants, recreation and the Canada Line subway to downtown and the airport all a short walk away.

Four bus lines run very close, taking you directly to Downtown, UBC, Stanley Park, Granville Island, etc. If you arrive by car, there is free parking just outside the door.

BC's major health centres, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, and BC Children's Hospital are all within 15 minutes walking distance.

This is a great location for families, with a nice park across the street with playground, fitness center, running track, and splash pool in summer. Free family oriented concerts every Thursday evening in the summer! Hillcrest Olympic Rec Center is also close by, with a large pool (indoor and outdoor), skating rink, library, etc.

Local shopping and restaurants are only 500m away, in Cambie Village. Other shopping districts are also within just a few km: Main Street, South Granville, Granville Island, and the large Oakridge Mall.

When you are not out in the city, enjoy the peaceful private patio with a view of the park and mountains!

The apartment is very quiet and private, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the sitting room that converts to a second queen-sized bed. A single mattress or a portable crib can be supplied on request. The bathroom has grab bars installed in the bath tub, making access easy and safe. Clean linens and towels are provided, and housekeeping services during the stay are available if desired. Guests also have free access to a shared laundry room.

The living room has been recently updated with a 42" flatscreen TV.

This is a very beautiful, convenient and popular neighbourhood and we love living directly across from Douglas Park an being able to get around so easily without driving.

We just stayed at the place for one night and it was great. No issues at all. The apartment is nice and clean and had everything available. There is also a LCD TV in the living room (pictures showed an old one) and has a cable box too. No issues with the Internet. There is access to the laundry room, but we didn't use it except for the iron. The place is about 10min drive to downtown. Parking is free on the street beside the house. The entrance to the apartment opens up to the park and gives a really peaceful feeling. My mother in law loved it and sat outside for a while in the morning just relaxing to the view.

Great location, clean and efficient

We enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood and location were perfect. Close to food and shops, easy to get places. Loved the park and mountain views. Everything was clean and ready except a dirty towel on the closet floor and some paper trash stuffed in the sofa. Looks like there was a birthday party there before our stay:)

All in all we would stay again.

Good location, was close to grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 15-20 drive or shorter.

Apartment was small but very clean and had everything that we needed. Extra blankets and pillows for the sofa bed. Lots of towels. Shared laundry. On our visit the upstairs tenants were away so was nice a quiet in our apartment.

Cozy and Convenient

It pretty much rained the entire 4 days we were in Vancouver but this cozy apartment welcomed us at the end of each drenched day! Great restaurants close by and easy walking distance to the train station and multiple bus routes. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was great. The unit is very nicely and completely furnished and everything worked perfectly when we arrived (none of that all too familiar fumbling around for internet access, etc.). The unit is in a very nice residential neighborhood, yet close in to downtown Vancouver. The hosts were fantastic - recommendations and help if you want, or you can be left on your own. Highly recommended!
