About this property

Beautiful cottage in a quiet neighbourhood, a few yards from lake Champlain

You will love this beautiful cottage. Situated in a friendly neighbourhood where children are welcome.
They will love to play in the sand or in the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain. The water level is very low and goes down gradually so it's great for small children as well as adults.

Rest assured that every step has been taken to insure your safety and ours during, and after this Pandemic.
The cottage is our vacation home that we rent out a few times during the summer to help with our expenses.
We do the cleaning ourselves and will make sure that all surfaces are disinfected before and after you leave.

Our cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. You can feel safe and there are no worries about keeping your distance with others since you will be alone in the house, on our side yard and the front deck. You also have your private walk down to the water and your private beach area, away from anyone else.

We usually supplied bed linens but during this extraordinary period we ask that you bring your own, if possible.


We have beautiful Airport Park a few minutes away that offers tennis, pickleball and basketball courts as well as a bicycle rental tent if you want to take advantage of the beautiful bike paths all around us.
We have 3 sunny bedrooms plus a sun porch

Short bicycle ride to downtown Burlington along bike path
Offers 2 queen beds and twin bunk beds.
Perfect for relaxing, swimming or sun bathing on our beautiful sandy beach

On weekends you can rent kayaks or paddleboards at Bayside park or bicycles at Airport Park.
PERFECT FOR UVM and CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE parents visits or graduations.

Graduation Weekend
Beds were comfortable and the 3 season porch was a great place to unwind. We enjoyed the view of the water from the house. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes. At night we could hear tree frogs calling on the other side of the road, which was fun. There's also a park nearby with walking trails, and a grocery store close by. Zachary's Pizza is also close and we had an excellent pizza there. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Burlington. A very relaxing place to stay, so glad we found it!

We loved it! We road the Colchester causeway. We rode into town, Burlington. The location was perfect for both of those trip!

Great location near the lake!
This was a lovely little beach house cottage in Vermont. The location was good as Burlington was only a 15 minute drive away. The cottage gets a little cold this time of year (October) so I would recommend using the fireplace for heat at night. Also, the shower is a little small so that is something to consider if you need/want a lot of shower space. Otherwise, the cabin was nice and it was in a good location.

We bought this place so that I could spend summers with my girls that were 3 and 5 at the time. They had a wonderful time at the lake and now they come back with their children. All our friends and relatives still remember the wonderful days spent at the Vermont cottage.

Why they chose this property

This property is ideal because of the lake views and it's proximity to Burlington Vt. Parents have come here while visiting their teens at UVM or Champlain college. You can do as much or as little as you want during your stay.
