Walk three blocks to St Charles Avenue to take the streetcar uptown or down to the quarter. Walk to nearby restaurants, shopping and bars that are only 1 - 5 blocks away, including The Half Moon Bar, Juan's Flying Burrito, Lilly's Vietnamese Cafe, Houston's, Voodoo BBQ, Slice, Krewe du Brewe Coffee, Mojo's Coffee, and Surrey's Cafe & Juice Bar among others.

Coliseum park is just over a block away, with gorgeous oak trees, a lighted fountain, and lots of space for walking dogs.

The apartment is two stories, with a private entrance and access to the private back patio. The entrance hall, master bedroom with queen size bed and a separate bathroom are located on the first floor. The living room and kitchen are on the second floor. The living room features a double sleeper couch, and a 39' flat screen TV with cable, including HBO and WiFi.

Perfect for weekend getaway in the city

We had a wonderful time. Stacy’s place is perfectly situated with easy walking access to St. Charles, streetcar, and Magazine street. Street parking was plentiful and never had a problem. Most areas of the city are accessible from here by Uber/Lyft for around eight dollars or less. I recommend and will book again for our next NOLA weekend!

Great Value in NOLA

My husband, 14-year-old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights after Christmas. All in all this place is a great value if you can deal with some minor inconveniences.

Here are the pros: Very clean inside. Location, Location, Location: Easy access to Magazine Street's delicious restaraunts. Easy walk to the St. Charles streetcar stop. Owners are very helpful although they were out of town during our visit. On street parking is plentiful. We felt safe walking at night, but certainly be aware of your surroundings. White towels in the bathroom were luxurious and the shower was powerful and warm! The kitchen seemed to have all the equipment you'd need although we ate out every meal - it is New Orleans after all! My 6' 2" husband slept relatively comfortably on the pullout futon couch upstairs.

Here are the cons: Outside of house looks a little sketchy and in various states of repair. Steps and gate to apartment need some attention. Downstairs bedroom window faces out to an alleyway which can be noisy at certain times with cars starting and trash pickup. We were in NOLA on some very cold days. There is no central heat and only window air conditioner units in the apartment. There were 4 stand-alone heating units in the apartment that had a very hard time keeping up. When we went out for the day, it was freezing when we came home. The stairs to the kitchen and living room are very steep and a little challenging to manage in the middle of the night to access the downstairs bathroom. Lastly and this may have been an oversight by the owners, there was no bath soap available upon arrival, so you may want to bring your own. We picked some up at the local Walgreen's.

All in all, this apartment offers great value for the price.

Cozy apartment perfect for a stay in the Garden District

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for a few days and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The kitchen was great for making coffee or a small breakfast, and a couple mornings we sat on the private patio to just relax. The house is within walking distance to Magazine Street where there are many shops, restaurants and bars, and we felt very safe walking back during the evening. It's also a $5-7 Uber or Lyft ride to the heart of the French Quarter, which was an added bonus for us since we wanted to party without having to deal with the craziness/noise when we wanted to sleep. All in all, we're very happy with the apartment and would highly recommend!

This is the ideal area for spending quiet time!

This was our third time staying in this vacation rental and we keep coming back because it is comfortable, clean, and feels like we are in our own home. The location is also ideal because you are walking distance to most attractions, and after a day in the crowds it is nice to have a quiet place to spend the evening.
