This is the ONLY single family home in the GARDEN DISTRICT. Look at the map closely. You will see tons of FALSE advertising. The GARDEN DISTRICT is 5 x 8 blocks which are the borders of St. Charles, Louisiana Magazine & Jackson. Nearly every VRBO property listed in the Garden District is NOT in the Garden District. Lower Garden District is a totally different world and is NOT patrolled by the private Garden District Security. Properties north of St Charles tend to be in ROUGH areas. ABOUT OUR PROPERTY: Executive home on the premier street, St Charles avenue, with the premier location in New Orleans. This is a really, really nice property that just completed a very high end renovation. This is not an 'animal house'. We do not permit bachelor parties or single night usage. It is a property meant for those responsible and mature. This property means a lot to our family and we are select in offering our property. 3 bedrooms + very large media room that can serve as another bedroom all with brand new memory foam mattresses. Master suite includes a private living area and over-sized walk-in dressing room. 3.5 baths are tastefully decorated. Eye opening living room and stunning dining room with wet bar/icemaker and wide open kitchen includes all modern appliances. This is an impressive place to entertain. Wireless internet and the finest security system complement the 24 hour neighborhood security along with an iron gate for up to 2 parked cars. The famous streetcar stops directly in front of the property with the city bus stopping only a few feet farther. Buy a $3 jazzy pass for 24 hour, unlimited streetcar and bus transportation and you can reach any part of the city in minutes. French quarter/downtown takes about 5 minutes. You do not need to rent a car. One block to the world famous Commander's Palace restaurant, Lafayette cemetery and all the mansion walking tours. The most concentrated section of restaurants, bars and shops on magazine street are only a few blocks. Nearly every visitor to New Orleans will walk by this property, thus if you enjoy people watching, then this really adds to the ambiance.

A beautiful living room area and 43' plasma tv make this quite a private retreat with new bamboo hardwood floors in stained in rich dark walnut. The King Bed and new memory foam mattresses will insure a great night's sleep. View St Charles Avenue and people watch from each angle of the suite. Enjoy a private dressing room and en suite bathroom with new gorgeous counter tops. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with new memory foam mattress. Two closets provide more storage than needed. A flat screen tv for your enjoyment is part of the room's decor. Great views of the people strolling by the grand oaks of the Garden District makes this terrific. Bedroom 3 is a beautiful classic turquoise old new Orleans color with flat screen TV and two twin beds that can be combined as a full size bed. Two closets provide ample storage. Views of the oak lined streets are direct from two large old south windows.

Great location, both for walking locally, using your rental car, and riding the streetcar.

Ann & Randy were very easy to communicate with. They have a lovely home. We had only 4 adults this weekend, but the house could sleep a few more easily. We never cooked a meal at home and only used the refrigerator and coffee maker. However, we could easily have stayed in for a few meals if our schedule had allowed. We will definitely stay here again if we can squeeze into their busy calendar! Great 6 nights in NOLa!

Great location in upscale Garden District. ( trolley very accessible).

Great house, well appointment with outdoor patio where we had our morning coffee. Our hosts have terrific local knowledge which they shared and of which we took advantage. We had a great time!!

Excellent, would rent again. Easy walking distance to Magazine St, everything in Garden District, and St Charles trolley stop in front of the home. Very convenient and comfortable.

Beautiful Historic home in the Garden District

We absolutely loved this house! Randy and Ann were very gracious and accommodating. We stayed four nights over Thanksgiving with our adult children. There was plenty of space, lots of privacy for each of us and three and a half baths! We also enjoyed the outside side deck and sitting out front on St. Charles street and people watching. The trolley stops right out front (which is a little noisy, I must admit- most of their brakes could use some oil!). The neighborhood is very walkable - restaurants, coffee shops and wonderful architecture. There is no better place to stay in New Orleans than in the heart of the charming and historic Garden District. Bourbon street and Frenchman street are an easy uber ride away and it is nice to get away from that area when you aren't bar hopping. This was a great vacation. We had a very memorable and comfortable stay. Thanks for the hospitality!

Awesome Home

Perfect location, nicely furnished, and plenty of room for us, our two adult children, and their spouses (three couples total). Off street parking for our rented SUV (only used to get to tours outside New Orleans city, otherwise we used the street car - which was great). Super nice hosts. Enjoyed Garden District home tour, steam boat tour, pub crawl ghost tour, WWII museum, French quarter, etc. etc. Adult kids agree we should come back in a year or two. Thanks!
