Neat
Nice, very clean condo. Only a block from the beach and several great restaurants. We got lucky and stayed during the annual dog surfing event which was very awesome. Everything was well maintained and when we accidentally locked ourselves out Avery from the ice cream shop around the corner got us back in quickly. 10/10 would stay again.

Relaxing beach vacation
Overall, I had a great time at this property. I thought the amount of space was perfect for a couple who planned to eat out most meals. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach entrance, and the provided beach chairs, umbrella, and towels were nice so I didn't have to worry about traveling with those things. The place was also close to a lot of the restaurants Flagler Beach has to offer, so I enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. It was clean, had a lot of towels to use, and the free laundry with complimentary laundry pods and dryer sheets made it easy to do a load while relaxing by the pool. The smart TVs were nice too so I could connect my streaming services to it. A few things to point out for future stayers. There isn't a full oven in this property, just a microwave/convection oven combo. This may be a problem for anyone who plans on cooking on vacation; I don't think a normal sized frozen pizza would even fit in it. Also, the walls are pretty thin. Whoever was staying in the unit above us had a dog that barked a lot and we could hear the person staying there making a lot of noise and yelling at his dog. It wasn't too bothersome to me, but I could see this being disruptive to other people. Lastly, there was some plumbing issues with the kitchen sink while we were there. The property manager was very responsive and got back to us quickly about the issue. Nothing needed to be done to fix is while we were there, I just hope they get it fixed soon so that it doesn't become a bigger problem.

About the host

We discovered the wonderful beach town of Flagler Beach 28 years ago while on our honeymoon. Since then we have returned several times each year to re-live the magic of this unique little oasis. After renting this Villa for many years, we discovered it was available and jumped at the chance to own a piece of paradise! Since we live in Cincinnati and sadly cannot be here year round, we have the opportunity to offer our Vacation Villa to our family, friends, and a few guests here and there. You won't find any valet parking or bell hops here. However, after you park your car just outside the unit and take your bags through the beautiful courtyard/pool area to your very own Villa, we believe you will agree with us. There is magic in this little town and it is definitely a 5 star destination without the 5 star prices!...

Why they chose this property

This beach town is special. You feel it when you cross over the Intercoastal Waterway (ICW) and see the panoramic views with the aquamarine backdrop of the Atlantic. You feel it when everyone you pass waves or says 'Hi'. You feel it when you take that big sigh of relief as you enter the 'no stress zone' we call home.

*Fine Dining in town- Island Grille
*Family dining -The Funky Pelican Pier Restaurant, Martin's, Flagler Fish Company, Golden Lion, Tortugas, The Anchor, Turtle Shake, Oceanside, etc.
*Daytona Beach & it's wonders, 20 min. south on the A1A
*Historic & beautiful St. Augustine just North on A1A or I 95;
*Orlando theme parks a little over 1 hour inland.
*Surf board, golf cart & bike rentals available
*Launch ramp and world of inter-coastal fishing minutes away
*Canoe/kayak rentals in Tomoka Park

What makes this property unique

This town is unique in many ways. It hasn't changed a whole lot in the last fifty years and that was no accident. Highrises are not permitted so we can keep the Old Florida feel. The beach is certainly never crowded and runs as far as you can see in either direction. There are no buildings allowed on the ocean side of A1A so the beach seems to be just for you. Nearby Tomoka Park with it's canals, paths and incredible Jungle is a natural treasure filled with wildlife. Princess Preserves is a newly discovered favorite ...wildlife, kayaking, nature trails under huge Oak Canopies as old as Florida itself. Yes, Flagler Beach is the kind of town where sand sometimes drifts across the walkway of City Hall. There are no big chain fast food places in sight. Yet a 15-20 minute drive in either direction finds you in Old St. Augustine or Daytona Beach and the Speedway...We really do consider this to be paradise and are very proud to give you the keys for a time. Relax and enjoy.
