Nicely upgraded. Comfortable and clean. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom older fixtures but function

We would definitely return to this property. Close to streetcar and bus lines. Easy walk to Audubon Park. Met owner who is very nice! You can't go wrong staying here.

Very Spacious Two Bedroom

The property is very spacious with good living room, dining room and bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The TV has limited channels - no CNN or MSNBC. There are two main drawbacks: the kitchen has very poor lighting and is poorly equipped. If you don't do any cooking this is no problem. The second problem is the bathroom. It is very dated and cramped overall. The shower in the old clawfoot tub has a dirty plastic surround and doesn't have any grab bars to assist in entering or with balance if one were to slip. The towel rack at the end of the tub is loose on the wall. The owner is very helpful is you need assistance.

Great option - we will be back

Neat and well appointed, had everything we needed for a 4 day visit. Only thing worth mentioning is the tub is a claw foot with shower curtain surround. People with mobility issues may find it challenging. Host was great and had excellent communication.

Things went very well. Dee communicated well and things were as stated on the website.

This was just the place we needed. It was well located for us and the off street parking was a real plus. The only negatives were that the kitchen needed better lighting, the main TV was in the dining room which meant that you had to sit at the dining table to watch it, it was difficult to access one of the beds from both sides and the toilet wobbled when you sat on it. On the plus side, the place was clean and everything we needed was available. The neighborhood was quaint and we felt like we were at home instead of in a tourist place. Having access to a washer and drier was a real plus. Also, it was nice to have central air conditioning (considering NOLA's climate) instead of window units. The refrigerator has a filtered water dispenser which is also a big plus in that the municipal wayer supply tastes terrible. Dee and his family were nonintrusive and very helpful and obliging.
