If you are looking for an elegant, spacious, comfortable, quiet and private quintessential Santa Fe style home in a great historic eastside location, look no further than Casa de Madre. Located on the historic Acequia Madre waterway, a short walk from Canyon Road and the Plaza, this beautiful Santa Fe adobe home is part of a traditional compound with seven other homes.

A large, open great room is the heart of Casa de Madre. The spacious kitchen features high end appliances. All rooms in the house have vigas, high ceilings and wood floors. The living room features a large antique Navajo rug and armoire containing a large, state of the art internet HD flat screen TV with DVR and DVD player, plus a Sonos /Pandora sound system.

The master bedroom, with king size bed, has a traditional kiva fireplace as well as French doors that open onto a lovely portal from which you can hear the gurgling of the nearby Acequia Madre creek. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV. The guest bedroom and en suite bath are perfectly located on the opposite side of the home, providing privacy for your guests. The guest bedroom has a king size bed, kiva fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD player, as well as French doors opening onto a private portal.

The home has a wonderful collection of art to enjoy. Air conditioning makes it an ideal summer vacation rental. High speed wireless DSL is available throughout the house.

Everything was good except the room got very smoky when the fire was going out.

Even 11;00 would have been better. We really did love the house and would definitely stay there again. Very helpful and friendly
