CLASSIC HAWAIIAN TOUCHES

The ground-floor unit sits in a highly sought-after building in the inner courtyard, with incredible views of the lushly-landscaped grounds. To match the courtyard views is peace that comes from being away from the main road and resort pool.

Inside, tasteful island décor includes local art and Hawaiian accents throughout. Spend quiet nights relaxing in the living room with cozy sofa that doubles as a sleeper for the kids or extra guests. Open the sliding glass doors and let the inside and outside merge. The covered lanai offers shade and a place to lounge, dine or watch the kids play in the grassy area.

From your favorite meals to beach snacks, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal prep. Along with full-size appliances, you have all the cookware, dishes, and pantry basics you’ll need. Sit down to meals at the four-person table adjacent to the kitchen.

Drift off into dreamland in the bedroom, where a queen bed is outfitted with tropical bedding and a large window offers a tropical garden. The en-suite bathroom has a tub and shower combination. Another full bathroom provides additional getting-ready space with a large vanity and shower.

When the tropical sun is at its hottest, the trade winds typically sweep in to offer relief from the heat. You’ll also stay comfortable throughout the condo thanks to A/C and ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom. Also, enjoy free Wifi throughout the property.

Pack your flip-flops and swimsuit—we’ll take care of everything else with a list of amenities that goes on and on to ensure you feel at home…stackable washer and dryer, on-island contact available 24/7, bath towels, and bed linens. You also have access to everything you need for the beach including over-sized beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, ice chests, and sand toys.

Kamaole Sands resort boasts over 15 acres of tropical grounds including palm trees, plumeria trees, orchid walls, birds of paradise and fountains.

Hang out by the large pool with plenty of deck chairs to relax. There’s also two hot tubs, a kiddie pool, gym, snack cart, tennis courts, and ping pong. The on-site concierge is your go-to for island excursions and local restaurant recommendations. Join the free Wednesday Mai Tai party and enjoy live Hawaiian music; fun for couples and families alike.

EXPERIENCE THE ISLAND

Right across the street, Kamaole III Beach offers family-friendly fun including swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, turtle sightings, and sandcastle-building. The beach has lifeguards and a spacious grassy area for front row seats to the spectacular sunsets.

We’re situated on the sunny, dry side of Maui, putting you near some of the best beaches in Hawaii. There's so many, you could visit a different beach each day! Spend one day relaxing and sunbathing and the next getting an adrenaline rush boogie boarding, surfing, or stand up paddle boarding.

Kihei Town is laid-back and low-key with dining, nightlife, and shopping, most within walking distance. Just one mile away is Wailea, known for its world-class resorts, beaches, dining, upscale shopping, golf courses and spas.

Note: The resort is painting all exteriors of buildings over two phases with the final phase between April to November 2018. This beautification project will temporarily disrupt our normal resort ambiance. Our building is scheduled for May 14 through June 23, 2018, and our calendar is blocked accordingly to not disrupt our guest stays. This project will also temporarily suspend assigned parking and an open parking system has been implemented to ease parking during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience as the resort makes this valuable improvement.

About Keren and Gary Yowell

We visited Kamaole Sands Resort for 25+ years. To share in our experience was our three sons and Grandma. During our many vacations, we explored the resort, beaches, Kihei Town and all that Maui offers. We felt so comfortable at Kamaole Sands and on Maui that we couldn't help but return year after year. Soon we began to dream of owning our own unit and sharing it with others. With our boys grown we decided we could give our dream wings. We have enjoyed creating a comfortable and economical space to share with couples and families. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to share it with you and yours!

Why Keren and Gary Yowell chose Kihei

It never crossed our mind to choose any other resort than Kamaole Sands. We had visited it so many times that it became a home to our family. The resort grounds are spacious, beautiful and well cared for. Kamaole Beach Park is across the street and it is one of the best family beaches in South Maui. The property grounds are easy to walk, no steep inclines, flat paths throughout. A front desk awaits arrivals 24/7, 365 days a year. The resort offers great amenities like a large pool, kiddie pool, two hot tubs, tennis courts, small workout room, concierge activity desk, a snack cart at the pool and many more. Icing on the cake is upscale Wailea, just a couple miles away, as well as 7 more miles of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world to enjoy. It's an affordable gateway to all that is Maui!

What makes this condo unique

Building 7 is the perfectly located in the resort. It's an easy 3 minute walk to the beach. And less of a walk to the the pool. Building 7 avoids the main road noise and pool noise. Other features we appreciate are bypassing the elevators, having a view and easy access to the spacious inner court grounds, and its solar orientation makes our unit cool and comfortable. Another great plus is that the size of the Kamaole Sands units are so much more spacious than than the pricey resorts. For example, our one bedroom, two bath unit boasts 818 square feet, which is more than double many hotel rooms making it an affordable vacation option on Maui.

We both agreed that we have been thoroughly spoiled by staying in your lovely and well located unit. We love the privacy that your place offers, and the fact that everything is so accessible to us, for example the beach, the barbecue, the lovely gardens from the lanai. We don't have many people walking by at night-------and the bed is SO COMFY.

Great location. Family friendly complex. My parents rented this unit and it was perfect. We had a neighbouring unit which wasn't as well equipped or looked after. The Yowell's stayed in contact and were easy to deal with. We would rent this unit again.

Vacation in Paradise

We loved our stay at KamSands 7-102 it made our vacation in Maui one of my favorites. The condo was perfect for us, small enough so it was easy to keep clean and stay close to each other and big enough to spread out and relax. This space was laid out in such a way that everything was easily accessible and what I really enjoyed was that all the light switches were labeled so you aren't clicking all the time trying to figure out what is what. Easy access to the beach and pools. Hot tub was fabulous and the shared grills right outside the condo to grill food for meals. The only thing that was disappointing was we weren't there in time for the mai tai party on Wednesday night. Maui and the KamSands is a wonderful, clean and very welcoming place to stay. Mahala nui loa to the owners for making us feel like ohana.

Fantastic Location - Inner Courtyard Garden View

We are returning guests and have always enjoyed the central location of this condo.. Updated and very clean, stocked with all the amenities you require for a fun-filled vacation. Ground floor unit with a beautiful view of the inner courtyard and barbecues near by. Condo is close to many beaches, restaurants and shopping areas. Owners are so friendly and always interested in their guests comfort and happiness.

The unit we booked was exceptional and homey. While the resort fee amount was not ridiculous, the advertised items it provided—daily paper, weekly magazine—could have been delivered or more availability locations (versus at the main check in lobby).

Great Condo, Great Owners, Great Location

First off, Keren was wonderful to work with, quick to respond to all of our questions and very attentive to our needs to be sure we were enjoying our stay.

The condo itself was updated and very well decorated. It was extremely clean and the layout was perfect for us. We were supplied with everything we needed on the trip, beach chairs, beach towels, a boogie board, and assorted beach accessories. The kitchen was very well furnished, it had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms had good water pressure, always a plus for us. The bedroom was air conditioned and the bed was very comfortable. Also it was nice to have a safe to lock away valuables. The living room was also air conditioned and was big enough to relax in after a long day of activity.

The location in the complex was handy, 3-5 minutes to Kamaole III beach. The pool was close and the BBQ area was even closer. The complex itself was very well maintained. The grounds were lush and the exterior has been freshly painted (some still in progress).

We've been to Maui four times and this is the first time we've stayed in Kihei and really enjoyed it. Its close to the airport , Wailea, and many very nice beaches.

All in all we highly recommend this condo and the Kihei area and think you will enjoy your stay there, as we did.
