McKinley House - Feel at Home While You’re Away

A word about Covid-19: We have enhanced our cleaning proceduresf to include anti-viral disinfectant with an electric fogger to micro mist all surfaces, door knobs, remotes and other frequently touched surfaces. The health and safety of our guests during this pandemic is our focus.

McKinley House is a new way to stay. Our philosophy is simple--why pay for stuff you don't need? Like for space you won't use because there are just two of you? And how about deposits, linen charges or crazy cleaning fees? Isn't traveling expensive enough? We thought so too, and designed our house to meet your needs--whatever they are. You always get a private stay in a place to call your own at a fair price. From one guest to seven guests, McKinley House expands to meet your needs.

McKinley House is located in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood just minutes from I-40 and I-27. In total, the house is 1,226 sq. ft. and has a living area, dining area, kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, patio, outdoor grill, fenced backyard with kids play area, and up to three bedrooms. Enjoy free high speed Wi-Fi and Fire TV with Max and Prime Video.

Guests have access to the gym, sauna and garage at no additional cost.

When booking, you are getting a private stay. Bedrooms are made available depending on your needs and the number of guests you book, so please be sure to indicate the total number of guests who will be staying overnight.

KING SUITE: The King Suite is a 192 sq. ft. room featuring a king size bed with 14" plush memory foam mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, dresser, mirror, computer desk with lamp and chair, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The suite has a private bathroom with a shower and a large walk-in closet. This room accommodates two guests.

THE QUEEN: The Queen Room is a 140 sq. ft. room featuring a queen size bed with firm mattress, nightstand, lamp, sleep sound machine with alarm clock, mirror, 39" flatscreen TV and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room accommodates two guests.

THE DOUBLE: The Double Room is a 116 sq. ft. room featuring a twin size bunk bed with 11" plush memory foam mattress over a double size bed with pillow top mattress, dresser and ceiling fan. The room has a shared hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination and has a closet. This room can accommodate three guests and is perfect for kids.

The base rate includes two guests. There are additional charges for more guests and you must account for all guests. There is a pet fee.

Best place on our whole trip.
We do not travel very often but spent 10 days staying in different locations, this home was cheaper and better than all the others we paid for. The home was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The hosts communicated and clearly defined what needed to be done. The only minor issues we had where using both showers at the same time (cold water but fine when one at at time), and the fan in the bunk bed room could not be used without the light. Location was quite, easy to find and allowed parking out of the weather. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

This property is truly a home away from home. The house was cozy and inviting. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with easy access to central Amarillo. The hosts were just as inviting as the property. Loved it!

Came to Amarillo for funeral. This house was perfect for our family of 6. Very clean & comfortable with nice amenities. Our host was awesome, very curtious & responsive. Highly recommend staying here!

Your hosts are Perry and Bryant. We purchased this property in case my parents need it. They are in their 80's and still live on the family ranch. Hopefully, they will never need it. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy it.
