It’s a safe neighborhood with the NYC skyline steps away. Please view the photo of the view within walking distance of the apartment. You'll find everything you need within few minutes walking distance to restaurants, Laundry and grocery stores within walking distance
What makes this Apartment unique
Manhattan by Bus: There is a bus stop one block walk of the house to West 40th St & 8th Ave Manhattan. Cost is $3.00, the bus runs every 5-10 minutes 24 hours a day. The bus takes 15 minutes to get into Manhattan, even in moderate traffic through the Lincoln Tunnel to Times Square or Port Authority bus Terminal. From Port Authority Bus Terminal you have access to the following trains: Blue Line: A C E (This line can connect you to the L train which will get you to Brooklyn) Red Line: 1 2 3 (This will take you to the Financial District, Washington Heights) Yellow Line: N R W (This line travels to Astoria, Queens) This part of NJ is closer to Midtown Manhattan, Times Square, Theater district, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central, Empire state Building, Saint Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center than staying in other parts of lower and upper Manhattan itself... We are closer than all parts of Brooklyn and way closer than staying in Queens or Bronx. Other things to note Every store you need is just within walking distance. You can find cafes, pubs, restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacies and grocery stores just a few blocks from the front door! There is a really nice grocery store about one block away.

So close to the city without having to stay in the city. Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to great views, easy transportation, good coffee shop and the best Italian food restaurant. Would definitely stay here again. Parking was an issue but that was well communicated prior. Elizabeth was very helpful and assisted us to find public parking. Convenient lot location just behind the apartment. The only other issue we were not used to turning off the AC when leaving the apartment. Temps in the upper 80’s during our stay and upstairs apartment, it was pretty uncomfortable for about an hour until the AC units caught up. This is common practice in New Jersey New York area we found out, to conserve electricity. Just not something our midwestern family was used to. Stayed here with our kids, aged 12 & 9. Plenty of space for all of us. We slept well comfortable beds. Used the kitchen several times no issues. The price of our stay was affordable and appropriate. Deposit was refunded as promised. Thanks Again!
This place was just what we were looking for. Stayed for 4 nights 6/2019. Very clean and up to date! Our family of 5 (4 adults and 1 child) stayed here and had plenty of room. The only thing to note is that, the bus back from NYC does not run past 10pm( nothing the owner can control) Make sure you plan accordingly. Other than that, is was very easy to use the bus system to get back and forth from the city! Both of the restaurants we ate at were absolutely amazing and with in walking distance from the place. I would recommend staying here!!
Thank you !
Sorry we woke you up :( I didn’t realize that was a key pad, it was a dimly lit area and I couldn’t see the numbers, I even ran my finger over it, but it didn’t light up until you showed me. I don’t know if this has happened before, but perhaps a note stating .... “this is a keypad, push on it to light it up”
We enjoyed the space !
We really enjoyed our time here
Cute and very clean apartment just a few blocks from the Hudson River overlooking Manhattan. We were able to accommodate a family of 5 plus 1 guest on our trip. Easy getting to and from NYC with shopping and restaurants just around the corner. The owner was great to work with. I'd stay here again if returning to the area with our family!
Close to New York easy ride .Besutiful walkways with view of ny skyline!
Nice apt within walking distance to restaurant and cafes . Elizabeth was very helpful. Only issue was the door lock electronic was very finicky. Hard to work but other than that would rent again ! Great location .
Great Apartment and Easy Access!
This apartment was great! There were 6 adults with my group and there was plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. Although our flight was late, Elizabeth still greeted us as we arrived and gave us all the instructions we needed to know. This apartment is easy accessible and has easy access to the city! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed! Elizabeth and the apartment was great and we will definitely be staying there again!
TRANSPORTATION To get to NYC, you go to the corner of 66th and JFK/Blvd East and wait for one of the private buses to appear (every 5 minutes). They will usually say NYC 42nd St. on the banner over the windshield or Blvd East. They are usually the smaller buses (not NJ transit sized buses). It costs $3.00 per person per trip. It can drop you off right at 42nd St. between 8th and 9 Ave or a block or 2 south, this is Times Square area, Port Authority station, short walk through the old Garment District or the famous Hell's Kitchen. To get back, you go to 42nd St. between 8th and 9th Ave and wait for the bus to appear. (You'll know you are in the right spot is you see the Dafni Greek Tavern) Just ask the driver if it is the Blvd East bus, they will tell you. When you get into NJ, you will head north on Blvd East. Just be aware of where you are and when you get near 66th St., tell the driver "next Stop" or "66th" ;)
Very easy to enjoy the city without the stress of driving and parking.
