8 Houses to the Beach - New Interior, Clean, Modern and Beachy

Welcome to 1 West 53rd Street in beautiful Brant Beach, New Jersey.

Our house is on a quiet dead end bay block and only 8 houses to the ocean (or 1 short block!). Our home is a duplex - the first floor is for rent. The first floor rental has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. The first floor is completely independent of the second floor, so you will never be sharing an entrance, grill, outdoor furniture or parking. Our rental is Saturday to Saturday.

We are located in one of the most narrow parts of LBI which means a less crowded beach and a short quick walk to the beach! We provide 6 beach badges for the unit. Children under 12 do not need a beach badge.

Amenities on the first floor include: air-conditioning in each room, ROKU TV’s in each room, backyard with BBQ, outside patio furniture, deck, WASHER/DRYER and wireless internet access.

Duplex: Since our home is a duplex and we use the second floor, we encourage families to rent our home. 53rd Street is a very family friendly spot. If you are looking for a party house - this is not for you. The house is perfect for families or couples who love LBI, love going to the beach, and want a clean and modern place to stay.

Numerous restaurants are nearby and a few are within walking distance. There are many places to shop, play mini-golf, rent boats, kayaks or bicycles, go crab fishing in the bay, charter fishing out of Barnegat Light and surf fishing on the beach. The island has an amusement park complete with rides, games, an arcade, and water park too! In the heart of Beach Haven is the Surflight Theater and the Showplace Ice-Cream Parlor. Also, within walking distance from our home is St. Francis Church. They have a beautiful indoor & outdoor pool that can be used for a fee.

Skipper Dipper-I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream!

Panzone’s-great pizza and another Italian dishes located right next to Fantasy Island

If there aren’t enough restaurants on the island to satisfy your needs then jump on the parkway and head to Atlantic City or head to the bay and take a boat! It’s only forty minutes away!



Please note we do not provide sheets and towels. If you would like to rent sheets, towels, a crib, high chair, beach chairs etc please let me know and I can recommend a great third party provider who will drop off and pick up.

The perfect vacation home!
I recently stayed here with my husband, 2 small kids and teenage daughter and her friend. Everyone LOVED it! This is the perfect vacation home! Great location close to the beach and bay. The beach isn’t crowded and is so beautiful. A short drive to the center of town. Stores close by and 2 minutes away from a large super market. The house is clean, recently updated and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay very clean and close to the beach
Our family had an excellent stay at this beach house. It's only one block to the beach and right next to the bay where our daughters loved looking at us pulling up the crab traps. House was very clean, modern kitchen, you couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Beach Vacation
I rented this home with the previous owner last year. I just booked for the summer of 2017 and the new owner is just as responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The house is exactly as you see in the pictures. It is clean, modern, comfortable yet casual all at the same time. It is on the bay side yet the ocean is only 8 houses away! The street is a quiet, family friendly street. The kitchen is fully stocked if you should want to cook while there. If you rent this house, you will not be disappointed. Brant Beach is a great part of the island!!

Why they chose this property

We have been renting this property since 2013. We loved it so much, we told the owners to consider us if they were ever thinking of selling it! Fortunately for us, they did and now we are the owners of this beautiful home.

It is in what I think is the best part of LBI. Brant Beach is the narrowest part of the island. You only have one block to the bay and one block to the beach so you have the best of both worlds! And because the island is so narrow in Brant Beach, you have less people on the beach. There are never any issues with finding a place to sit, play paddle ball or build a sand castle!

Brant Beach is still close enough yet far enough from the shops, rides and arcades in Beach Haven. A 10 minute ride and you are in Fantasy Island or a 10 minute ride the other way and you are back to the bridge.
