A truly romantic property featuring TWO distinctive homes, the Main House and the Bungalow, on 4.6 private, wooded acres. The homes are nestled on either side of a gently sloping and beautiful, natural 70 foot waterfall - the sound of the water will lull you to sleep after you enjoy a wonderful day, either staying at home or venturing out into the culture and activity of the area.

Experience the perfect getaway for a larger group or to gather for a special event. With two beautiful, unique houses on the land, escape from the every-day into relaxing bliss and natural beauty. Planning to have a big group? - There are even place settings for 50 people in the extra catering kitchen of the Main House. Please note that there is different pricing for groups of 16 or more or for weddings and events. Please contact Susie, our property manager, for more information on our venue for events.

The flowers and garden on the property are stunning in spring, summer and fall. But if you are interested in a winter or holiday treat you can snuggle up and get cozy around a fireplace and in the warmth of friends and family. These homes and land really draw you in. It is a magical place!

1.) Master Bedroom has separate his and her bathrooms. Beautiful large, oval jacuzzi. Large screened in porch off of the master bedroom. You can leave the sliding glass doors open to hear the sounds of the waterfall.

2.) 2 Double Beds in guest room with private full bath, outdoor breakfast deck.

3.) Rear bedroom has two twin beds with a single bed loft (sleeps three guests). Includes a bathroom with a shower.

Within a few miles of the home is the town of Flat Rock, home to the Flat Rock Playhouse (the North Carolina State Theater), and the Carl Sandburg Home. Carl Sandburg was Abraham Lincoln's biographer, a U.S. Poet Laureate, and a well known musician and journalist. The Playhouse puts on Broadway plays to packed out audiences throughout the year. The Carl Sandburg Home is operated by the park service and has tours of the home (which was left just as it was when he died), extensive walking trails and a running goat farm.

If you blink, you might miss the adorable downtown of Flat Rock, which is on the Historic Register, with it's own gems which include a wood-fired pizza/bakery, an ice cream shop, a fine art gallery, it's own Flat Rock Cinema theatre and many other shops.

Flat Rock is just minutes from downtown Hendersonville (Main Street in Hendersonville is on the Historic Register) where you can find more shops and galleries. You will be very pleasantly surprised by the many excellent restaurants the area has to offer.

Hendersonville, Flat Rock, and Asheville are all situated in the valley between the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains. Access to hiking, fishing, incredible golf courses, rock climbing, camping, waterfalls, lakes, whitewater rafting, tubing, boating, snow skiing, snow tubing, national forests, breathtaking views, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock Park,and Lake Lure-just about anything you might want to enjoy in the outdoors is just minutes away.

Whether you want an easy excursion in nature or are a backwoods hiker, the entire range of outdoor experiences are here. Wildlife, birds, plants and natural formations are everywhere. This area is abundant in things to do, places to see and incredibly enjoyable experiences.


If you are interested in a longer excursion, Cherokee Reservation has an outdoor theater show, 'Unto These Hills', a show about Cherokee Indian history. The nearest airports are Asheville (AVL) which is 20 minutes away, Greenville/Spartanburg, SC airport (GSP) is 50 minutes away and Charlotte, NC airport (CLT) is 2 hours away. If you are traveling in a small to medium size RV (measuring up to 25 feet) for a nominal fee you may use our parking hook up which includes water, electricity and a septic station.
