The homes are nestled on either side of a gently sloping and beautiful, natural 70 foot waterfall - the sound of the water will lull you to sleep after you enjoy a wonderful day, either staying at home or venturing out into the culture and activity of the area.

Experience the perfect getaway with two beautiful, unique houses on the land. Escape from the every-day into relaxing bliss and natural beauty.

The flowers and garden on the property are stunning in spring, summer and fall. But if you are interested in a winter or holiday treat you can snuggle up and get cozy around a fireplace and in the warmth of friends and family. These homes and land really draw you in. It is a magical place that makes you feel that the fairies are living amongst you.

1.) Master Bedroom has separate his and her bathrooms. Beautiful large, oval jacuzzi. Large screened in porch off of the master bedroom. You can leave the sliding glass doors open to hear the sounds of the waterfall.

3.) Rear bedroom has a queen bed and a twin loft bed. Includes a bathroom with a shower.

The Carl Sandburg Home is operated by the National Park Service and has tours of the home (which was left just as it was when he died), extensive hiking trails, and a running goat farm.
