The 1,200 sq ft. retreat includes a light-filled master bedroom, outfitted with 2 queen size beds, a large closet and ceiling fan. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds plus a generous closet. You may enjoy cooking your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen that includes lots of cooking utensils, full size refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, stove, and microwave. Your spacious home offers privacy both inside and out, but is close to many attractions. Off street parking includes room for an RV and there are no stairs to climb.
Prescott weather is hard to beat: more than 300 days of annual sunshine, but also four distinct seasons, thanks to the town's elevation at 5,400 feet. The historic elm-shaded Court House Plaza has a cascade of art shows, film festivals, craft fairs, and outdoor concerts. Downtown Prescott is filled with boutiques, open-air bistros and Victorian–era buildings.
If your interests are culture, tradition and history, there are many gems in Prescott including the Sharlot Hall Museum, Prescott Fine Arts Museum, Phippen Museum, Smoki Museum, Heritage Park Zoo an the Highland Center for Natural History. Combined with the over 500 buildings and homes on the National Register of Historic Buildings, there's plenty of history and culture venues to be found in Prescott, Arizona.
Prescott is nestled in the heart of the Prescott National Forest. This is cool, refreshing pine tree country with scenic crystal clear mountain lakes. These include Lynx Lake, Goldwater Lake, Watson Lake, Granite Basins Lake and the Willow Creek Reservoir. Spring brings meadows of wildflowers and summer features high temperatures that rarely reach 90 degrees. With the arrival of autumn, the creek bottoms explode in fall color and when winter arrives, expect the beauty of fresh fallen snow to cover the landscape. Wildlife is abundant in the area including deer and herds of Pronghorn Antelope hangout in the grassy foothills just east of Prescott.
Thumb Butte is a pinion-covered out-cropping that overlooks the former cowboy town. There are 650 miles of trails in the adjacent 1.25-million-acre Prescott National Forest that is perfect for hiking, biking and fishing. You'll find easy hiking trails along the lakes and more adventuresome hiking trails deeper into the Prescott National Forest
Prescott is less than 3 hours from The Grand Canyon! You can take a quick day trip by car and enjoy all that the South Rim has to offer, or you can book a shuttle, jeep tours, or even take a helicopter ride looking over the amazing canyon views down to the Colorado River. Grand Canyon National Park has many opportunities for a fun time with your family! Other day trips can easily be made to Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff and Phoenix.

Prescott weather is a pleasure year-round. At 5,400 feet the spring and summer months are a cool, sunny, breezy delight. Courthouse Square is a spectacular place to visit with a stream of art fairs, musicians, and a great mix of cultural programs.
