About this property

20 Acre Meticulously Renovated and Luxurious Waterfront Estate - One of A Kind!

Come visit this fall, Maine's most beautiful season! With an incredible new custom renovation, Rockport Retreat offers five bedrooms and four baths and provides luxurious accommodations for up to nine guests. Located on 20 acres, this gracious residence offers all the charm of a turn of the last century Maine coastal home, while providing all the modern amenities sought by today's most discriminating guests. The Retreat is approached via a long tree-lined drive; it passes the property's magnificent barn that is on The National Register of Historic Places. The main house is ringed by charming covered porches. The first floor includes a fabulous cook's kitchen with professional appliances, the breakfast room, family room, sun room, foyer, living room, formal dining room and a beautiful bath with imported stone and tile. The upper floor includes five bedrooms (1 king, 3 queens and 1 twin), three luxurious new baths, laundry facilities and two lovely decks. The property includes an oceanfront parcel across the street from the house that provides beach access. The estate has no nearby neighbors, so it offers the ultimate in privacy even though it is convenient to all that Rockport, Camden and Rockland have to offer.

Lovely home in great location in Midcoast Maine
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home - it was a great location for visiting Maine - loved the shopping and restaurants in Camden and Rockland, and day trips to Acadia National Park and Monhegan Island were highlights of our vacation. Plenty of room for 8 adults and one infant. The property is very expansive and well situated. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and dining area were easily able to accommodate our large group. Would recommend for large groups and definitely consider going back again!

Maine Magic
This property was perfect for our family. The location was close to everything and so peaceful at the end of busy days. The home was very nice and the grounds were beautiful! We all agreed we would stay again. Would love to know any history of the house. The art work was appreciated.

Wonderful house. Wonderful time
The property is beautiful and kept up well. The kitchen is SO well stocked! It is not baby proofed but if you come prepared it’s easy to make it work. Only two things I would say to improve the stay 1) bring rubber soled slippers for inside. The stairs are slippery without shoes ( which the owner requests you not wear) 2) it would be helpful to include directions for the dishwasher. We eventually figured it out but the buttons are no longer readable and we spent two or three days working on figuring it out. These two minor things did not impact the enjoyment of our stay. It was great!
