Perfect for people that love the water, this house couldn't get more of it! This cozy cottage offers more than you could imagine possible. Windsurf, kite board, kayak or boat right from your backyard. The views are amazing with water on three sides of this hidden gem. Rental includes a dock that's great for fishing or just relaxing on, use of three kayaks, convenient sound access for water sports. Enjoy the decks for views that are endless while sipping your coffee or enjoying a glass of wine. This is an excellent spot for watching wildlife of all sorts from birds to sea otters this spot has them all.

Amazing views!
Jim was awesome to work with. Views and privacy really made the stay. Beautiful sunsets and great boat/ water access. Love that it’s dog friendly. Pups certainly loved it!

Views were excellent. House was acceptable but could use some updating especially in the lower level bathroom. Use of kayaks and paddle boards were a plus.

Best obx rental ever
We absolutely loved our stay and the owner was fabulous. The bottom floor is just a gigantic master suite with king bed and jacuzzi tub with private porch and hammock. Theres also a little doggy fenced in area right off the porch which makes it super easy to just open the door and let dogs out to potty. The 2nd floor has the rest of the bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, livingroom, hot tub deck, screened in porch and laundry. There are steps that lead right down into the water, making it easy for those even with mobility issues able to enjoy the sound. The use of the kayaks and paddle board made this trip even more special, as we had teens with us that used them daily. Snorkling in the backyard was awesome. Fishing spot was great but didn't catch a lot of big fish, but the water that week was just hot (the water temp was 88) Still managed to catch some croaker, spots, shad, pin fish. The yard is big, and we even played a few rounds of wiffle ball. The teens enjoyed evening strolls down to Scotch Bonnet to grab fudge and goodies. Overall just a fantastic place and we would be thrilled to come back to this house!

The pictures don't do it justice! So peaceful, great water views from wherever you are, good fishing, the best sunset views, sweet coffee bar, and very helpful management just a quick call away. Outstanding!! Highly recommend.

We have been vacationing in Frisco for over twenty years and fell in love with the place on our first trip. We were engaged in Frisco and were married on the sandy beaches of this beautiful retreat. Even our first dog was named Frisco and now we have one named Hatteras. In 2002 we were celebrating our fifth anniversary and bought this cottage sight unseen because we knew the spot was a gem and we were right. With views and water access it can't be beat. Bobby loves the place so much he did three books on the area starting with Portrait of the Outer Banks. We have a daughter named Meadow and we enjoy watching her grow up in this beautiful place.

Why they chose this property

This property can't be beat because of the tremendous views, incredible water access and wonderful wildlife just out your back door. Our large property offers plenty of space for kites and sails. After using a local realtor to manage our property for the past several years, we have decided to rent on our own. If you have rented our property before please mention it with your booking and we will include a special gift for you and your family!
