The Luana Kai is a beautiful resort, great location, quiet with lovely grounds full of tropical plants. Best of all it is ocean front, no roads to cross, no obstructions. Enjoy fantastic Maui sunsets, excellent whale watching, beach walks 100 yards from the condo. The property is on a large grassy park area with majestic palm trees and four tennis courts.

Our condo is conveniently located in sunny Kihei, close to shops, restaurants and many beaches. If it is windsurfing or kite sailing that brings you to Hawaii, you can launch outside our condo. Winds are slightly lighter so kite sailing better than the windsurfing. World class windsurfing is only 10 - 15 minutes away. If you are not a windsurfer, definitely check out the pros at Hookipa beach minutes from the town of Paia. Our one bedroom unit on the ground floor is convenient, comfortable and quiet... Superior location !!!
Location, location, location!!! If you want to be on the Kihei side of the island, this location is great. All units have a direct or partial view of the Ocean, the facilities are all on site, the only negative points are that there is no a/c in the unit I have rented and the cleaning was not proper (floors). However, everything else was great.

Great location on Maui
Very clean and extremely comfortable. We are not overly picky but really look for value in our dollars spent. This condo was a home run. Weather was cool during our stay, so the absence of A/C never became an issue. Seemed like the air circulation was really good though. Easy walk to the beach, groceries and restaurants right down the road. 20 minute drive from OGG airport. Would not hesitate to stay there again (and might next year).

This was a very nice stay
This rental was used for a work trip but I would have gladly stayed here on vacation. The grounds were well-kept, access to the beach was easy, and the unit was well stocked with quality furnishings and appliances. Correspondence was superfast and handled with professionalism. The location is a little north of Kihei so the surroundings are quieter at night (and the sunsets right outside the door are superb). Hard to ask for a better stay for the price.
